Surrounded by Olive groves & farmland enjoying the tranquility of the spectacular Corfu countryside.
Ideally located for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, Villa Kalokairi is nestled in a traditional landscape of Olive groves, Oleander, and Cyprus trees. Close to the traditional Greek village of Afra, it is the perfect spot for a relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to explore the highlights of Corfu and experience the charm of the Corfu hills & countryside.
The two-bedroom villa is furnished to a high standard with an open plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area. It has an impressive cathedral ceiling, giving it a light and spacious feel throughout. The lounge opens on to the terrace, pool and BBQ area which are bordered with fragrant oleander bushes and honeysuckle. The inviting swimming pool and south facing garden makes it the ideal setting for sun-worshipers, lazy days, and alfresco dining.
The comfortable and spacious lounge has internet television, and free wifi, it offers a cool place to relax when you want a break from the sun. The patio doors open out to the swimming pool and gardens, with sunbathing terrace and outdoor dining area.
Stylish dining
There is an indoor dining area for four with all the tableware and decorations that you will need. Ideal for simple meals or if you wish to make dining a special occasion, you will find place mats supplied.
Fully equipped kitchen
There is an open kitchen and dining area with plenty of workspace for family cooking, or for hosting a dinner party. We have access to a private chef if you want to make it a special occasion or would simply like a rest from the cooking. The kitchen contains kettle, coffee machine, toaster, fridge freezer, microwave oven, electric oven and hob.
Master Bedroom & en-suite
The master bedroom is wonderfully light and airy and looks out to the the pool and gardens. It has an en-suite bathroom with rain shower, a comfortable king-sized bed, hairdryer, triple wardrobes and plenty of drawer space for your belongings. The high cathedral ceiling helps keep the bedroom cool in the warm summer months. The bedroom is also fully air conditioned.
Guest Bedroom
The second bedroom is lovely and bright with a high cathedral ceiling which keeps the room cool in those hotter temperatures. It has two single beds, double wardrobes, and a chest of drawers. The bedroom overlooks the pool and gardens and is fully air conditioned.
Bathroom
The master bedroom has an en-suite attached to the bedroom with toilet, rain shower and wash basin. There is also a separate bathroom opposite the second bedroom with toilet, wash basin and bathtub with rain shower over the bath.
Swimming pool & Garden
The pool is set in secluded, tranquil gardens, surrounded by fragrant oleander and honeysuckle. There is a comfortable poolside lounge area for you to sit, relax and enjoy your days and evenings overlooking the swimming pool & garden. The charcoal barbecue, outdoor dining table & chairs with sun parasol means you can enjoy dining al fresco any time of the day.
For summer 2026, The arrival & departure day is FRIDAY. Bookings need to be made in block of 7/14/21 or 28 night duration.
Prices are in pounds per week for the villa which sleeps 4 people. The will be a discount on the price if there is only 2 or 3 people staying at the villa. Please enquire for the discount. Linen changed weekly. The owners of Villa Kalokairi are residents of Corfu and will service the villa once a week, and will be available to offer help, advice or information throughout your stay. If a week is held a booking is pending but not confirmed. Enquiries are still welcomed for these weeks.
A 20% deposit is required to confirm the reservation. The balance is payable not less than 8 weeks before the start of the rental period. Reservations made within 8 weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking.
£200.00 Security deposit payable prior to arrival and will be refunded 10 days after departure from the villa if there are no breakages or damage to the property.
Air conditioning is optional. There is a supplement of 50 euro per week per unit. Available in both bedrooms only. There is a ceiling fan in the lounge.

They had thought of everything inside and outside the villa, as well as all the organisation beforehand. They provide a brilliant guide to the villa, plus all you would want to know in terms of beaches, tavernas, places to visit and the history of the island. The villa itself is spacious, beautifully decorated and perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 primary school age children). The pool isn’t deep so it kept warm and was also safe for the kids. In terms of location, it was ideal for visiting places all over the island. I would wholeheartedly recommend it.
Lovely relaxing Holiday!
By Liz and Tony on 05-Jul-2025We had an amazing stay at Villa Kalokairi 😀 It was set in lovely surroundings, the garden in full bloom, the Cicadas serenading us all day! Everything you needed for a wonderful holiday was contained at the Villa, well equipped kitchen, open plan living/dining area, spacious bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe space with 2 bathrooms, towels and bathmats provided. The pool area and garden were well maintained and the water a balanced temperature for the heat. A little drive along a single track road to get there, shops, beaches and other amenities a short drive away. We stayed for 3 weeks and it so quickly felt like home! It was difficult to leave the peace and quiet and wall to wall sunshine every day! Absolutely loved it!!
Absolutely wonderful
By Family DD on 27-Apr-2025Just back from a 9 night stay! The villa is set amongst beautiful trees and very private. It's extremely quiet and relaxing. The villa itself is wonderful. Spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The hosts are really lovely and on hand, should you require anything. I brought a gravel bike with me, and had some fantastic cycling adventures! Book it! You will not be disappointed! It's a gorgeous villa, tucked away, but very close to many places. Thank you to the hosts. Lovely people. 😊
A gem of a villa - perfect for a family getaway!
By Simon Wendholt on 11-Aug-2024What a fantastic time we had at this perfectly located, quiet and well appointed villa - it had everything we needed for a recuperative stay. From the first moment we contacted the owners to discuss availability to the day we left, Shay and Stephen were so friendly and attentive. The villa is just 15 minutes from the airport and centrally located to make exploring the island so easy. The layout of the villa is perfect with two bedrooms and two bathrooms (one ensuite) so that getting two teenagers ready to go out was never a drama. The swimming pool was heavenly and so lovely to return to after a day sightseeing. The area around the pool provided sun and shade to suit all tastes/requirements. Air conditioning was an added bonus for those really warm nights! No hesitation in providing a 5 star review - thoroughly deserved and a gem of a villa with brilliant owners. Certainly one for a return visit. Thank you!
A home from home
By Nadine on 30-Jun-2024The photos of the property are good but really do not do it justice. Lovely villa in a quiet area with everything a family needs during their stay. Comfortable beds, relaxing sitting room, well stocked kitchen. The pool was utilized daily and lovely shaded seating areas welcomed during the very hot days. The owners Shay and Stephen are very friendly and were on hand if we needed them, they are also very knowledgeable about the island. We have spent many years visiting Corfu and stayed all over the island and this is one of the best places to stay. I would not hesitate to recommend this property or stay there again.
Heavenly stay in private Corfu villa
By Scottish couple on 20-Jun-2024We spent a wonderful week in Villa Kalokairi in Corfu, a delightful, picturesque villa in a tranquil, peaceful setting. The location is ideal in the centre of the island with supermarkets and beaches just a short drive away. Despite being close to the airport (around 8 km), it’s rural, quiet and private, with lovely flowering shrubs, and olive groves nearby. There is parking inside the property, and shaded areas with deck chairs (plus cushions) and umbrellas. The immaculate pool was heavenly in the sizzling heat, and fans and aircon kept the villa cool. The villa is very well-equipped and spacious with a tiled floor and high wooden ceilings, two bedrooms (with comfortable beds) and two bathrooms (one with bath and shower attachment, one big shower), and plenty of storage space. There are mosquito screens on all the windows, which is a huge help at night. We cooked delicious meals in the full kitchen, ate outside on the patio, and used the washing machine in the outside laundry room. And in the garden we enjoyed the sounds of cicadas, bees, birds, goats and cocks crowing - and the friendly cats which visited us! Shay and Stephen are perfect hosts, providing extensive detailed information in advance of our visit, and a quick response to all our queries. We were sorry to leave, and would be very happy to visit again soon.
