Description
On the 1st floor there’s a king-size double bedroom with air conditioning with French doors lead to a large terrace with a table and chairs. The 2nd air-conditioned bedroom has two single beds that can be converted to a king-size with French doors lead to a balcony. The bathroom is fully tiled with shower area, WC, sink. On the ground floor there’s a separate WC and sink and an open plan living area. The kitchen features maple coloured cabinets with black granite work surfaces and includes a coffee machine, toaster, kettle and high quality china, glass, cooking utensils/pots and cutlery. Maple dining table with black leather dining chairs. French doors lead to a large terrace containing a mosaic table with matching chairs. The living room has a sofa bed, 2 easy chairs, coffee tables etc. satellite TV, DVD, HiFi and wood burning stove. French doors lead to the same large terrace with a pergola framed by scented Jasmine. In the basement there is a laundry room with iron and ironing board.Situated in a peaceful location the Aloni Villas, named after the old threshing floor of stone incorporated in the private grounds, are two semi-detached villas completed to an exceptionally high standard. The Villas Ponente and Levante are surrounded by scented gardens. Roses, honeysuckle and jasmine climb and tumble over walls and pergolas. Bougainvillea, oleanders and many other flowering shrubs create a colourful display. There are orange, lemon, nespole, fig and olive trees. Set in the garden is a large swimming pool (11m x 5.5m with a constant depth of 1.35m) and an outside stylish kitchen with barbecue, fridge etc. and an adjacent dining area shaded by a pergola with a table that can seat 10. There are both sunny and shaded areas for relaxing with loungers, side tables, director's chairs and deck chairs. The villas are only 750 metres from the attractive harbour of Agia Efimia with its shops, bakery, bars, tavernas, post office and cash point.

Faultless with scenery.

The villa's exceeded our expectations and everything has been catered for with an attention to detail that is a credit to Tracie, Mario and the team they have around them. Gentleman George was there to welcome us on arrival and made us feel we had known him all our lives such is his charm & character. We met Christine the second day who gave helpful & informative advice on all that the surrounding area had to offer. Waking up to the views from our balcony, across the valley with its poppy fields below and to the hillside beyond will live for a long time in the memory. With outstanding scenery and close to a charming harbour town it is all we wanted. There was nothing we could fault other than to wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you all for a wonderful week.
Fabulous, Friendly and Fun
By Trevor K. on 22-Dec-2015It's not difficult to sell Mediterranean holidays with pictures of brilliant white buildings in olive grove settings with azure seascape backgrounds and all bathed in bright sunshine! Well, on arrival at the Aloni Villas these expecations were not only fulfilled, but far exceeded! The reality was a warm welcome to one of the loveliest spots on a really special island and a helpful introduction to a spotlessly clean, luxuriously furnished and well-equipped villa, with inviting pool. From the beginning to the end of our stay in the easternmost of the two Aloni Villas we wanted for nothing. Within easy walking distance of Agia Efimia restaurants and 15-minutes' drive from Antisamos beach, it's on the best side of the island too! We've left plenty of places of interest for next time and can't wait to return. What a gem! Thank you.
