The location is fantastic with stunning views across the bay - everything you need is either a walk or short drive away. The pool is fabulous and the whole villa is extremely comfortable with elegant yet homely décor. We are a family of five with mixed aged kids and all of us absolutely loved our stay here. We cant wait to go back soon!
The villa is a well-loved, spacious home which is beautifully presented and sits sympathetically in the landscape. It is spotlessly clean and very comfortably and stylishly furnished. Every bedroom has a good sized en-suite, two with a bath. The house is surrounded by olive trees, which give privacy, and looks down to the sea towards Kerasia and Albania over a beautiful infinity pool. There is a delicatessen/mini supermarket within walking distance, as well as a bakery supplying fresh bread and home-made ice cream. A few steps further there is a fish monger selling the local catch of the day. The facilities were so good (my husband especially appreciated the excellent built-in barbecue) that we chose to eat in most days but it’s not far to drive to a some very good restaurants nearby, our favourites being Eucalyptus in San Stephano, O Foros in Old Pirithia and Trilogia Plous in Kassiopi. All very different! This is an elegant and beautiful Greek home, the surrounding area provides plenty of diversions and Harriet is lovely. We immediately booked to return next year!
I highly recommend this villa for anyone seeking a painting or general wellness retreat. I came here to spend time relaxing and focusing on my art. The villa has an incredibly spacious veranda with both shaded and open areas, which allowed me to paint in comfort throughout the day regardless of the weather conditions. (A perfect spot to also practise yoga or pilates, so much space.) The moment you step onto it you are blown away by the magnificent panoramic views and expansive skies. I was spoiled with stunning sunsets and the vibrant colours of nature. The villa has so much peace and tranquility yet it is a short walk to two different harbours where you can enjoy the charm and bustle of Greek tavernas and boats coming and going, which offers more creative inspiration. It is somewhere I hope to come back to again and again.
