This property and location ticked all our boxes from our initial enquiry, useful information given by Andrew, arranging our taxi to and from the airport to being greeted at the villa.
We loved this place, perfect place to chill out, Andrew and his wife are excellent as hosts, the apartments and pool are maintained to the highest standard and also the cleanliness of the place, it had everything you would need on a holiday. Check is was perfect, offered a drink upon arrival and was even left a lovely bottle of wine and a welcome note. Andrew arranged our transfers from the airport and also back to the airport which was great for us. The apartment is around 45 minutes walk to the beach of the old town, and we were aware of this before we arrived so it was not a problem for us, taxi ride is around 7 euros, a couple of local restaurants within 15 min walk which we tried and they were very nice. Shop on the camping site around 10 mins walk has most things you would need. would definitely recommend these apartments for a quiet and peaceful holiday, and within what i would call close enough to the beach if you really wanted to go.
We had done a bit of research and Villa Eber looked to be very good - a quiet location but not too far from town, with a pool shared by just a few other guests. All through the booking process, Andrew couldn’t have been more helpful. He answered our queries promptly and made arrangements quickly and efficiently. Whilst we were staying there Andrew and Ana were available but not intrusive in any way which was great. The apartment was spotless and well appointed with everything needed. Having the bins emptied and maid service twice a week was brilliant, something we’ve never had in self-catering before. We had decided not to have a car. Andrew sorted transfers from Faro and we used local taxis and Ubers, about €5-6 into or back from town. We are quite happy walking so most of the time we walked into town/beach and got a cab back. Town is very busy with loads of choice but there are also some good restaurants quite close if you don’t want the hustle and bustle. A great holiday. We can thoroughly recommend Villa Eber - Andrew and Ana are professional but friendly hosts - many thanks!
