OUR BEAUTIFUL HOLIDAY VILLA CANTINHO OLIVEIRAS is situated in its own private walled garden giving total privacy to guests and is located 3 miles west of Albufeira, Algarve in a lovely quiet setting only 10/12 minutes walk to the beautiful sandy beach at Praia da Coelha (Rabbit beach) and close to the popular beaches of Sao Rafael, Evaristo, Castelo, Praia da Gale and Lourenco, some of the best beaches in Portugal.
Cantinho Oliveiras can be rented with 4 or 5 bedrooms for parties of up to 8 or 10 guests. Several restaurants including O'Marinheiro, Dom Dinis, the small Taberna Sesmarias, Restaurant Sal Maris and several other shops and restaurants are within a few minutes walk.
Our villas are privately owned by family and friends, and can be seen on our own website, where you can see our other high quality properties.

ACCOMMODATION AT CANTINHO OLIVEIRAS
The superior accommodation consists of:
Spacious entrance hall leading to the sitting room with two large glass sliding doors overlooking the swimming pool and terrace. There is an attractive wood burning fire behind a lifting glass panel for early and late season use. Flat screen satellite TV with BBC & ITV programmes.
The kitchen is fitted with fabulous gloss black units, a very attractive feature, and has an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, large American fridge / freezer, and a hatch to the dining room. The washing machine is outside in the barbecue house.
On the ground floor is Bedroom 1 which is a double bedroom, fitted wardrobes and beautifully tiled en-suite shower room with walk-in shower, two basins, WC and bidet.
There is also a guest washroom with WC and basin.
Bedroom 5, also on the ground floor is a double bedroom and only used when the villa is rented with 5 bedrooms. It has fitted wardrobes, its own en-suite shower room with WC and basin, and a door to the garden. This bedroom is locked and not used when Cantinho is rented with 4 bedrooms.
From the spacious hall, a very impressive sweeping staircase in polished black stone leads to the other bedrooms on the first floor.
Bedroom 2 has twin beds, small dressing area with fitted wardrobes, a door to its own balcony, and en-suite shower room with WC, bidet and basin.
Bedroom 3 is also a twin bedroom with small dressing area with fitted wardrobes and a door to its own balcony, and en-suite bathroom with bath, WC, bidet and basin.
Bedroom 4 has a double bed, door to its own large balcony, fitted wardrobes, en-suite shower room with WC, bidet and two basins.
From the top landing, there is a door to a large terrace, and steps to the huge roof terrace which enjoys panoramic sea views. A lovely place to enjoy a sundowner.
All Bed linen and towels are provided. Bed linen is changed once per week and towels changed twice per week. Swimming pool towels are also provided.
You will have Free Wi-Fi internet, Air Conditioning and maid service 3 days per week (more if you want).
The whole of the ground floor and garden is on one level making it suitable for the disabled.
OUTSIDE
The garden is on one level with terraces, lawns and a large covered barbecue and dining area, The barbecue is a typical Algarve barbecue with a preparation area and a sink. The attractive heated swimming pool is heated to 25 degrees, included in the rent (heating up to 28-30 degrees is extra). Tiled in light grey and white tiles, the large private swimming pool is 10m x 5m and has just one depth of 1.4m. An electric cover ensures the heat is retained overnight.
Under another covered area is a ping pong table for guests use.
Car parking for several cars is provided.
LOCALLY
Several restaurants including O'Marinheiro, Dom Dinis, the small Taberna Sesmarias, Restaurant Sal Maris and several other shops and restaurants are within a few minutes walk.
At the nearby Gale Beach, you can walk for miles in the direction of the next resort Armacao de Pera, or call at the Salgados Beach Bar for a drink or lunch.
A bus service into Albufeira, and to Gale beach runs from nearby, making our villa suitable for guests without a car. Local taxis are easily available, including some fun Tuk Tuks.
Several restaurants are within easy walking distance including the superb (in our opinion) Restaurant O’Marinheiro. We will also provide you with our informative “Foodies Guide” which will take away any guesswork in choosing restaurants in the area.
Several top attractions nearby are Zoomarine, a full fun day out especially (but not only) for the kids. Here they can watch or swim with dolphins, water slides, zoological attractions, fairground attractions and lots more. Take a look at the Zoomarine website https://www.zoomarine.pt/pt/

Golf is available at the nearby Salgados Golf Course, just 5 minutes from our villa.
Discounted Golf and Club Hire
We can arrange a pre book golf tee times for you at any of the Algarve's courses at discounted prices, and arrange club hire delivered and collected from your villa.
We can arrange reliable reasonably priced quality car hire at Faro Airport, and private taxi or mini bus transfers to the villa.
RENTAL PRICES
The prices shown are for use of 4 bedrooms, and the 5th bedroom is available at a supplement of £260 pw. When rented with 4 bedrooms, bedroom 5 is locked and not rented separately.
Our normal change over day is Saturday, but we can consider other days which you can request. We are flexible so please feel free to ask for other days, or even odd duration rentals for 9, 10 or 11 nights, on request. The rental is calculated pro rata for the relevant season.
We get many repeat bookings each year. Cantinho is very popular and gets booked up early, so if you like it but your dates are already taken, please look on our website for other available dates, or one of our other villas.

ALGARVE
For those not familiar with the Algarve or Albufeira, the area to the west of this popular resort is considered the best place to stay by seasoned visitors. You will find at least eight beautiful sandy beaches and coves within just a few minutes of our small selection of villas, most with beach bars and restaurants. There are several well stocked supermarkets and a huge selection of good restaurants to choose from. Although close to the Algarve’s most popular resort Albufeira, we find most of our guests only pay the odd visit into Albufeira, preferring the beauty and peace and quiet of the area around our villas, and its fabulous beaches. By The Sofield Family on 09-Aug-2025Fantastic as always We’ve now stayed at Cantinho Oliveiras at least 6 times (I think) since first visiting around 10 years ago and each time we enjoy our stay more than the last. Our two young children refer to it as “our holiday house”! They are excited to go each year and have visited most years since they were born. At some point I’ll have to break it to my youngest that we don’t own it (if you ever decide to sell let me know so I don’t have to come clean). We have bookings for 2026 and again for 2027. The service is always fantastic both before our stay, Andrew always making sure we have everything covered and during our stay the team keep the villa spotless. Locally there are great beaches, and great restaurants. Fantastic to see Evaristo back open, O Marinheiro never disappoints and is a 5 minute walk away. We also like an early morning trip to Gale beach followed by brunch at Zimzalas. And a new favourite for the family is takeaway pizza from Masa Fina, and a cool box of wine and beer whilst watching the sunset from the beach. The villa itself has everything you need from amenities to layout, we’ve visited with newborns, toddlers, teenagers and grandparents and never had complaints, the two downstairs bedrooms help on this front. Location wise, there’s too many restaurants and beaches within walking distance to list. I’ve no doubt we’ll keep returning to stay here The Sofield Family
Another great holiday at Cantinho Oliveiras

We have now stayed here for over ten years and have already booked for 2026 & 2027. Both indoor and outdoor facilities at the villa are exceptional with a fully equipped kitchen and dining room, summer kitchen (including outdoor TV & washing machine), superb swimming pool and garden grounds with ample parking space. There is also the benefit of free Wi-Fi and air conditioning throughout the villa. The 5 bedrooms are all very tastefully decorated and spacious with en-suite facilities, 2 of which are on ground level which can facilitate those with mobility issues. The villa is looked after by very pleasant and helpful staff whom we have got to know very well over the years. There are some very nice restaurants within walking distance of the villa and there are some stunning beaches to visit in the area. I would have no hesitation in recommending the villa and surrounding area and the family always look forward to our visits to Oliveiras. Mary Hall & Family
Holiday & Villa to Remember
By Fred G on 21-Jun-2025We are a family of six who have been going to the Algarve for 23 Years and always stayed in a villa. 13 Years ago we discovered Villa Cantinho Oliveiras and have returned every year since to this lovely villa in the Sesmarias area. This 5 bed villa met all our requirements and more. From a garden full of olive trees to a sun-kissed roof terrace with a magnificent sea view. The villa is ideal for children with its large pool and table tennis area and barbecue and outside eating area. With its 2 ground floor bedrooms makes it ideal for anyone with disabilities. The kitchen and living area is equipped to the highest standard you can imagine and is cleaned 2/3 times a week by the excellent maid services. There is nothing too much trouble for the management team of the villa who are always there to help when needed. There are 3 beaches within walking distance of the villa and high end supermarkets within a 5 minute drive. We like dining out in the evening and there are a number of excellent restaurants close by ‘O Marinheiro‘ being one of our favourites. We have always found European Rentals excellent to deal with and nothing is too much trouble for them. So if you are looking for a 5 Bed spacious villa in it’s own sun kissed area surrounded by Olive trees then this villa will meet your every need. See you in 2026 & 2027 Fred G
