Casa Santos, is a beautiful villa situated in a quite residential area with beautiful hill views and it is spacious, comfortable and well equipped.Balconies/terraces situated throughout the villa with pleasant views. Among its many qualities, the villa offers a large patio with B.Q. over looking the pool as well as CABLE TV in the comfort of its living/ dining , and bedrooms.
Further restaurants and snack bars and supermarkets are a 10 minute drive away as well as the beach- Praia dos Pescadores, with good restaurants and night live.

By Claire on 16-Oct-2025We had a lovely relaxing week here in October and found the villa very clean and spacious with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. It was a very quiet area and we loved the big pool. 5-10 minutes down the road you have the Farm Village sports bar which does amazing tapas, burgers, cocktails, wine, beers, cider etc ("Brilliant" Bruno the owner speaks perfect English and will look after you very well). A little further on you have a Portuguese restaurant A Cocheira which we visited twice and is a must visit if you want a lovely relaxing meal. No car is needed because for around 3-4 euro you can travel a long way in an Uber (we walked into the old town in around 25-30 minutes and 3 supermarkets are all within 15-20 mins walk).
Family holiday
By Debra on 25-Jul-2025We stayed at this villa from 25/7-25 to 8-8-25. The villa is lovely and clean with everything you could need on your stay. Owners very friendly and helpful. I did have a couple of issues ( I couldn’t get gas hob to light) and owners popped round within minutes. The pool is treated with salt, our grandson has eczema so the salt was a million times better for his skin than chlorine. There’s 2 gates that close off the pool making it safe and secure. There’s plenty of sun loungers, parasols, tables, chairs etc to sit and enjoy the sun or the shade. There’s a table tennis table, hammock, outdoor pizza oven and bbq that we didn’t use but it was still nice having them there if you want to make use of them. The aircon inside the villa was a god send as it was extremely hot on our stay. The two main bedrooms have outdoor verandas where you can also sit which I thought was lovely. The villa is set on a quiet residential estate. For the first few days we didn’t hear anything until a group of young German lads arrived in villa next door which for us was just unfortunate timing and has no reflection on this villa or the owners. On a night time yes you can hear dogs barking as other reviews mention but for us this wasn’t an issue. We did hire a car so could drive wherever we wanted, but within a 5-10 minute walk ( it is a hill on return) there’s a couple of lovely bars and restaurants that do food. The farm village does a lovely smashed burger starting from just €5. A taxi into old town just cost €6. It’s our first time to Portugal, and whilst albuferia wasn’t quite our cup of tea ( too many banks, stairs and uneven ground)other resorts within driving distance were. Villamora, Lagos, Alvor and Quaiteria are all definitely places worth visiting. Zoo marina is a fantastic family day out and well worth the price, if you are staying more than a week then taking advantage of their 2 day deal is well worth it. Lagos zoo was ok, not the best zoo we have ever done and probably would never go back too. Sand city is also worth a visit, we went on a night and the sculptures are all lit up. The designer outlet and Algarve shopping centre are also worth a visit but take my advise and avoid during the day as the heat was unbearable, everything is open till around 10-11pm on a night so that’s the best time to visit. To sum up, you get an awful lot of villa for the money, location is ideal with or without a car. Owners are lovely. The only downside is if limited mobility like me, then there’s an awful lots of stairs, banks and hills
A great place to stay
By Rich on 17-Jul-2025Lovely house which had everything we needed, including a great pool. Maria was super helpful and even took us to the supermarket. Recommend the Farm Village - Into the Wild restaurant where the Smash Burgers were fantastic. Use Ubers to get into the Old Town, less than £3 per way. Thanks for having us
Best villa we have stayed in
By Jamie Lindsay on 18-May-2025Lovely villa lovely and owners could not fault 20 minute walk from old town supermaket at bot of road lovely restaurant farm village at bottom of bank does the best smash burgers u have wver had we will be retuning in may next year could not fault anything perfect place to stay

Maria and her husband were so lovely and welcoming we couldn't have been more grateful for their generosity. We will definitely visit again!
