Description
Villa Bernardo is a modern, very spacious 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms ( all bedrooms en-suite) fully air conditioned villa with a south facing private swimming pool situated near beaches and Old Town Albufeira, close to golf courses and water parks. It enjoys a superb location in a small residential area with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside only 5-7 minutes walk to a excellent local restaurant and a supermarket and are close to golf courses, water parks, Albufeira Marina, Zoomarine, Algarve Shopping and only 3 minutes drive from the Old Town of Albufeira with great bars, restaurants, unforgettable nightlife and beautiful golden beaches.You can walk to old town of Albufeira mainly through a new fitness park in about 20 minutes or take Uber which is easily available ( 3 minutes ride, around €4.00 )
-Very well maintained property with large terrace with a private swimming pool, area with shade next to the pool for hotter days, fully fenced, barbecue area with table, chairs, comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas.
- Arrive on any day of the week (flights are normally much cheaper midweek) but please note in high season it may only be possible to arrive on same day as the previous guests are checking out. We will do our best to accommodate your request with your chosen travel dates.
-FREE and unlimited Wi-Fi available at the villa.

Our 3 bedroom villa is very bright and spacious, fully air conditioned with accommodation split as follows: On the ground floor there is a large bedroom with a Queen size double bed and single bed, en suite bathroom and patio doors opening to a veranda overlooking the front patio. In the other part of ground floor there is a fully fitted kitchen and spacious living / dining room with satellite TV, CD/DVD, safe and patio doors leading to a large veranda with private swimming pool, umbrellas and sun loungers.
Half way through the staircase to the first floor there is a twin bedroom with en suite bathroom and veranda overlooking the pool. On the first floor there is a further bedroom with a Queen size double bed and veranda. If you enjoy grilling there is a purpose build brick barbecue for those unforgettable summer evenings outside with bottle of wine! Parking space available. Maid service is provided 3 times per week with linen changed weekly and towels half way through the week and with weekly change ( from November to March maid service is provided once per week or more often at additional cost )
-25% deposit required when making a reservation ( for bookings made now for 2025 we only require initial 10% deposit )
Balance ( 75% ) is payable 8 weeks before arrival.
It’s also possible to pay 25% deposit, second 25% deposit - 8 weeks before arrival and balance ( 50% ) in cash in euros on arrival. Please let us know if you prefer this payment option.
Payments can be made in sterling direct to our bank in UK or by bank transfer in euros to our bank in Portugal.
Payment instructions with bank details will be send together with booking confirmation.
- Air conditioning available in the living room and all 3 bedrooms at at €0.45 per kilowatt payable locally on departure ( usually around €20.00 per week with average use )
-Clients are required to pay damage deposit in cash on arrival ( sterling or euros ) of £300.00 or €350.00 which will be refunded on departure providing no damage occurred.
-The city of Albufeira tourist tax of €2.00 per person, per day up to maximum of 7 nights ( all persons over 12 years old ) is payable on arrival
The villa can sleep up to 7 persons and the price of the villa is based on up to 4 persons in April, May, October and winter months ( extra person £105.00 per week ) and on 5 persons in June, July, August and September ( extra person £140.00 per week )
-Winter sun weekly rate from 1st November to 31st March is based on minimum stay of 2 weeks and does not include maid service and final cleaning and cost depends on the length of stay.
-We also have another 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms villa with a private pool in same location. If the villa is not available for your dates please send an inquiry, we may have availability at another villa.
We also have 1 & 2 bedroom apartments at a larger villa, please send a message and I will reply with all details.
Car hire, taxi transfer & local information:
For guests wishing to rent a car we can make arrangements with a local car firm at competitive rates with efficient and personal service. You can pick up the car at Faro Airport or have it delivered direct to the villa, We can also reserve private airport transfer from Faro Airport. The driver will await your arrival and bring you direct to the villa. The costs is €44.00 each way for up to 4pax, €52.00 for up to 6pax, €55.00 for up to 8pax and the journey usually takes about 35 minutes. There are two excellent local restaurants within 5 - 7 minutes walk. Ideal if you like country walks. Just around the corner from the villa is a long country lane where you can enjoy the beauty of Algarvian countryside. Zoomarine and water parks ( children will love it ! ) are 10-20 minutes drive. Golf courses are only 10-15 minutes by car and sandy beaches of Albufeira about 5 minutes.

fantastic Villa

The villa was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed Andrew met us on arrival, gave great local recommendations, and quickly answered all our questions . During our stay we had a slight problem with the hot water but Andrew was very quick at sorting it out . The villa is in a great location , walking distance to the supermarkets and very easy to get an uber to where you want to go . We will definitely be returning as we all agreed what a lovely relaxing time we had

Perfect villa

Portugal family stay

They truly made us feel welcome. I especially loved the bottle of wine too. Beautiful villa in great location
By Keith Cartney on 06-Jul-2024We had a wonderful 14 day stay at villa Bernardo, from the moment we arrived we loved this stunning property. Andrew was the perfect host, he met us at the property on arrival and gave us a tour explaining everything that was required and offering us a lift to the shop for supplies. Since our booking the communication from Andrew was first class and he arranged our transfers to and from the airport. The property was very spacious, clean and well looked after. The linen and towels were changed throughout our stay and the pool was maintained regularly. The pool area had options for shade if required and the bbq was well utilised by us. There are a couple of excellent restaurants nearby, Farm Village and A Cocheira within a 5 minute walk and old town was a 20 minute walk with plenty options. We will certainly recommend to family and friends and would definitely stay again. Thanks again Andrew.

Amazing villa
By Maureen Lockey on 08-Oct-2023We have just returned from a 10 day stay here and it really was the most perfect place! From start to finish, Andrew is so professional and helpful. The villa itself is exceptionally clean and bright with lots of space without feeling too big. The pool area is perfect again with plenty space and an open outlook...going to miss having my tea/wine overlooking it all! Should mention that the WiFi was excellent too (in case you have kids...this is a must) Only a 25 minute walk into Albufeira old town and we would then get a taxi back each night. Thank you again to Andrew, next time we are in Albufeira, we will most definitely be back to stay here!
