Condominium Vasco da Gama is located just 10 minutes' walk from the beach and just 5 minutes from the centre of Albufeira. The apartment has easy access to all amenities, with a supermarket and cafes a stone's throw away.
Within easy walking distance of the famous 'Strip' which has plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from making eating out very appealing. The apartment benefits from two communal pools, with a smaller pool perfect for children
Leading from a good sized kitchen, the living/dining room is very spacious with a balcony that overlooks the pools and gardens. Both the double and twin bedrooms are exceptionally large with more than adequate wardrobe space. PLEASE NOTE, THE SOFA BED IS IN THE 2ND BEDROOM NOT THE LOUNGE AREA.
THERE IS AIR CONDITIONING IN BOTH BEDROOMS but not in the lounge area.
Each property on this condominium has there own allocated sunbeds.
The main bathroom is again a good family size. This fabulous apartment is very suitable for families and groups of friends, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay. However, please note that the proximity to the "strip" and nightlife may give rise to some noise in the early morning hours during the high season.

5 weeks before your arrival day, we requested the balance payment which is due 4 weeks before your arrival date and a security deposit of £/€ 200.00. The security deposit will be refunded to you 3/5 days after your departure.

We do not generally accept Hen or Stag groups. This is at the discretion of the owner and if your booking is accepted then a higher security deposit may be requested.
Same gender groups under 30 years of age will only be accepted at the discretion of the owner. If such groups are accepted then a higher security deposit may be requested.

This area offers great holiday opportunities throughout the year with golf courses, water sports, shopping, beaches and a huge variety of restaurants.
Areias Sao Joao, offers many shops, bars, restaurants and clubs, many of which are situated on 'The Strip' which runs from Montechoro to the beach at Praia da Oura. For many visitors the golden sandy beaches and the vibrant nightlife offered here provide the perfect holiday ingredients. There is a fantastic beach, Praia dos Aveiros, about 10 minutes walk from the apartment.
The nearest golf course is Balaia Golf which is situated in the Santa Eulalia area of Albufeira.
Zoo Marine is based in Guia a short car/bus ride. Zoo Marine features dolphin and tropical bird shows, an aquarium, fairground rides and swimming pools surrounded by beautiful lakes and gardens.
Old town Albufeira is about 1km away, just a short ride on the "tourist train" which operates throughout the year . Here there is a mixture of the historic and traditional flavour of the Algarve with cobbled streets and picturesque leafy town squares, plus a superb variety of restaurants, bars and shops. The Old Town is a very safe family orientated area with free entertainment available nightly at many bars in the summer season.
The beach at Praia d’Oura offers a wide variety of watersports, including windsurfing, water-skiing, parascending, jet skis and the always popular, banana boat rides, whilst scuba diving can be found in the next cove along. Many boat trips depart from Praia d’Oura - a great way to explore the hidden grottoes of the stunning Algarve coastline - and there are plenty of fishing trips available. There are many smaller quieter coves to be found around Praia d’Oura, and Albufeira can be reached on foot along the coast.
There are lovely clifftop coast paths and good bus connections along the Algarve coast in both directions. Children and teenagers on holiday in Albufeira will enjoy the Zoo Marine centre at Guia, as well as the English-language cinema, bowling, the water park 'Slide and Splash' in Lagoa is a fun day out for all the family with a separate area for very young children to enjoy.
DESCRIPTION OF THE DESTINATION

Places of interest include the region's capital Faro and its old town, Loule and its market situated in a recently renovated Moorish building, Silves and its red fortress, Caldas de Monchique for its thermal waters, Portimao’s old town and port, Lagos for its vitality and historical interest and Cabo de S. Vicente with its imposing light-house.
Above all, the Algarve is a children's haven with several exciting water parks, 'Zoomarine' sealife centre, horse riding centres and plenty of fun on the beaches!
