Description
Villa Carreira is a very spacious 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms ( all bedrooms en-suite ) fully air conditioned villa with a south facing private swimming pool situated near beaches and Old Town Albufeira, close to golf courses and water parks. It enjoys a superb location in a small residential area with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside only 5-7 minutes walk to a famous local restaurant and a supermarket and are close to golf courses, water parks, Albufeira Marina, Zoomarine, Algarve Shopping and only 3 minutes drive from the Old Town of Albufeira with great bars, restaurants, unforgettable nightlife and beautiful golden beaches.You can walk to old town of Albufeira mainly through a new fitness park in about 20 minutes or take Uber which is easily available ( 3 minutes ride, around €4.00 )
-Very well maintained property with large terrace with a private swimming pool, area with shade next to the pool for hotter days with table and chairs, fully fenced, barbecue area with comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas.
- Arrive on any day of the week (flights are normally much cheaper midweek) but please note in high season it may only be possible to arrive on same day as the previous guests are checking out. We will do our best to accommodate your request with your chosen travel dates.
-FREE, fast and unlimited Wi-Fi available at the villa.

Our 3 bedroom villa is very bright and spacious, fully air conditioned with accommodation split as follows :
On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with a Queen size double bed and in another part of the bedroom a single bed & sofa bed, en-suite bathroom and veranda overlooking the front garden.
Fully fitted kitchen and spacious living / dining room ( over 30m2 ) with satellite TV, CD/DVD, safe and patio doors leading to a very large terrace with swimming pool, umbrellas and sun loungers. If you enjoy grilling there is a purpose build brick barbecue for those unforgettable summer evenings outside with a bottle of wine. Half way through the staircase to the first floor there is a double bedroom with Queen size double bed, en-suite bathroom and veranda overlooking the pool. On the first floor there is another bedroom with two single beds, en-suite bathroom and veranda. Fast and reliable WI-FI available free of charge. Parking space available.
Housekeeper/caretaker lives on the property site in an annex with a separate entrance. Maid service is provided twice per week ( half way through the week and for guests staying longer after 7 nights ) with linen changed weekly and towels half way through the week and with weekly change.
-25% deposit required when making a reservation ( for bookings made now for 2025 we only require initial 10% deposit )
Balance ( 75% ) is payable 8 weeks before arrival.
It’s also possible to pay 25% deposit, second 25% deposit - 8 weeks before arrival and balance ( 50% ) in cash in euros on arrival. Please let us know if you prefer this payment option.
Payments can be made in sterling direct to our bank in UK or by bank transfer in euros to our bank in Portugal.
Payment instructions with bank details will be send together with booking confirmation.
- Air conditioning available in the living room and all 3 bedrooms at at €0.45 per kilowatt payable locally on departure ( usually around €20.00 per week with average use
-Clients are required to pay damage deposit in cash on arrival ( sterling or euros ) of £300.00 or €350.00 which will be refunded on departure providing no damage occurred.
-The city of Albufeira tourist tax of €2.00 per person, per day up to maximum of 7 nights ( all persons over 12 years old ) is payable on arrival
-The villa can sleep up to 8 persons and the price of the villa is based on up to 5 persons ( extra person £105.00 per week )
-We also have another 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms villa with a private pool in same location. If the villa is not available for your dates please send an inquiry, we may have availability at another villa.
CAR HIRE, AIRPORT TRANSFERS & LOCAL INFORMAITON
For guests wishing to rent a car we can make arrangements with a local car firm at competitive rates with efficient and personal service. You can pick up the car in Faro Airport or have it delivered direct to the villa.
We can also reserve private airport transfer from Faro Airport. The driver will await your arrival and bring you direct to the villa. The cost is €44.00 each way for up to 4 pax, €52..00 for 5-6 pax, €55.00 for 7-8 pax and the journey usually takes about 35 minutes.
The are two excellent local restaurants (both with bars) within 5-7 minutes walk. Ideal if you like country walks. Very close to the villa you will find a long country lane where you can enjoy the beauty of Algarvian countryside. Zoomarine and water parks (children will love it !) are 10-20 minutes by car. - Golf courses are only 10 - 15 minutes by car and sandy beaches of Albufeira about 5 minutes.

GOLF INFORMATION
There are currently 25 golf courses in the space of 100 miles of coastline, with more under construction. Most of the Algarve golf courses are within half an hour drive from our villas, some only 10 minutes. Over the last few years the Portuguese Open has been hosted variously at Penina, Vila Sol and Sao Lourenzo, all of which may be included in the list of top European championship courses. Warm playing conditions and immaculately manicured fairways and greens are the norm in the Algarve. The choice is simply superb.

By Carmel Bradwell on 01-Oct-2025We are ladies of a certain age and this was our 4th Villa holiday. It is our first villa in Portugal. This is the villa we will return to. It is so comfortable and well designed it makes for a totally relaxing stay. It is situated within easy reach of The Old Town and also close to supermarket. The pool and outdoor dinning area are hard to leave. The evening sun sets on this area and with a glass of delicious wine in hand it is a little piece of heaven. We do not hire a car and this is the only villa so far that has been perfect for us. The longest we waited for an Uber to arrive at our door was 5 minutes. Andrew was the perfect host. He organized our transport from the airport and was waiting for us at the villa on arrival. He is such an organized person. Nothing is left to chance and he was always at the end of a Whatsapp message. Thank you Andrew for your care and attention.

Relaxation
By Shaun Barker on 22-Aug-2025Just enjoyed 2 weeks at this villa,the first week we spent as a family of 7 and the second as a couple so seen how the villa works for small and large groups. This was our second time at this villa and would highly recommend,great location only a walk away from the old town and a short uber ride to the new town,close to all amenities. Andrew is a great host and can’t do enough to help make your holiday a relaxing and enjoyable experience.Cant wait for our next holiday to Albufeira will definitely be staying here again.

Nice to have a private pool
