The town of Almancil is the inland point of the Algarve’s “Golden Triangle”, so named for its richness of luxury homes in superb settings and access to first class facilities. Only 20 minutes’ drive from Faro Airport, Almancil is close to some of the world’s most celebrated golf courses and stunning beaches between the Triangle’s coastal points, Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo.
There are two beaches within a short drive distance ( aprox.10m ) from the villa – PRAIA DO ANCÃO E GARRÃO – both beaches are long, open, flat beaches with the trademark red cliff beach of VALE DE LOBO to the west and the to the windswept, deserted
beaches heading towards Faro Island. There is beach space for everyone and to suit every one and every family.
During the summer season there are lifeguards on safety patrol from early in the morning until sunset. There are beach concessions offer all the water sports facilities you would want including, banana boats, canoes, pedalo’s, surf boards, kayaks, para sailing, water skiing, jet skis, donut water rides along with great restaurant food & bars.
Staying in Almancil gives you a choice of world-class GOLF COURSES VALE DE LOBO is home to the Royal and Ocean courses and QUINTA DO LAGO has three, the North, South and Laranjal, as well as the exclusive Pinheiros Altos and San Lorenzo. Each course has its own individual setting and challenges.

Karting Almancil is home to the replica of the former Formula 1 Jacarepaguá circuit in Brazil. The Almancil circuit was launched by former Brazilian racing driver Ayrton Senna, who won three Formula One world championships.
Visitors can take either a 200cc kart around the 760 meter racetrack or, for the more experienced drivers, there are high performance 390cc karts to take for a spin.
