Description
Two spacious 4 bedroom villas sleeping up to 18 people comfortably. The villas share a secure garden (electric gates) which spreads over two acres and includes an enormous gated swimming pool and a tennis court. The tennis court was completely relaid in 2021. Over the winter of 2022/3 the swimming pool and surrounds have been completely renovated and a new pool house built comprising another wonderful sitting area, two small kitchens housing sink, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Perfect for early evening drinks. The pool is enormous, at least 15m x 9m, with a diving board in the deep end. Over the winter of 2024/5 the extensive gardens have been completely renovated to make them more climate resilient. There is still a lawn between the two villas, a new orchard, flower beds and mediterranean planting.Despite being surrounded by orange groves and countryside on all sides we are only 10 mins from Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago and Vila Sol golf courses and the fantastic local beaches & beach bars. In addition there are many restaurants and bars within walking distance.
The setup is ideal for two or more families (each villa is perfect for two families of four), or large groups of friends who wish to holiday together. The villas and gardens lend themselves to large three-generation groups as they allow space for everyone to have their time together and apart. The villas are also very well suited to golf/tennis parties.
Almancil is just 5 minutes away by car and boasts great supermarkets and shops for all the essentials, and Faro airport is 20 minutes away by car.
Changeover days for 2024 will be Monday to Monday although the state school half term holidays changeover will be Saturday to Saturday.

By David Chalmers on 11-Sep-2025We were a large group of golfers staying across the two villas and we could not have been happier. From the very first enquiry we made, Lynn and Simon were super attentive and all communication was quick and accurate. Simon and Lynn could not have ben any more helpful. Advice on shopping, places to eat and even being there for a shopping delivery for us as we had little time between arrival and golf. The villas have everything you need and the rooms are lovely. The pool is massive. It was so refreshing in the am and after a hot day on the golf course. This place is a haven for any large families with kids or a large group of adults who are responsible and able to respect the place as their own. It really was a great trip for us and we would love to return. The location is close to a range of golf courses. Especially the Quinta Do Lago ones. It was a 15 mins taxi to the marina and there are other local bars and places to eat within walking distance. Thanks again to Lynn and Simon for all their help. Enjoy.
Perfect family villas
By Alexandra Cherry on 21-Jul-2025These are two villas and a pool house with it's own freezer & dishwasher with every possible facility you could want. We were a three generation active family who made full use of the enormous pool and tennis court. The villas are set in expansive beautifully landscaped gardens with lots of room to throw frisbee , kick football. We BBQed , cooked and ordered in good as it was so lovely gathering round the large table on the shaded patio. We would highly recommend with no reservations and hope to return in a couple of years.

By Gerardus Versteeg on 07-May-2025We enjoyed our stay with 3 generations immensely. The 2 houses are not particularly luxurious, but very spacious, fully equipped and wonderfully quiet. But the real highlight is the truly beautifully landscaped garden with tennis court, enormous swimming pool, jeu de boules court, BBQ and the lovely pool house where we sat in the evening. A big 10!

Once in lifetime stay with family
By Chad Golding on 15-Jul-2024We stayed in Villas Jardim do Lobo in July 2024 for a week-long 3 generation family trip with 10 people from Australia, Europe and the US, celebrating a 50th anniversary, and 80th, 70th, 40th and 1st birthdays. It was the perfect location for our special, once in a lifetime trip, with everything we needed. It is well located near many great sightseeing activities, beaches, and restaurants and bars. We managed to golf, spend days at 3 different beaches, visit the Loule markets, sea kayak through the coastal caves, and sample some of the best food we've had at the local seafood and traditional portuguese restaurants - we didn't have a car and managed all this with cheap, readily available Ubers. The villas are clean, giant and well laid out - we had more than enough space to spread out and settle in. Families should be aware that it is very well stocked for kids and babies, with high chairs, lots of baby cots, plenty of unbreakable plastic kids dinner bowls, throws to put over sofas to avoid staining them, etc - it removes a lot of the stress of traveling with small kids. Best of all is the huge saltwater pool, which is even better than it looks in the pictures. If you come during a hot spell, as we did, it is invaluable to be able to regularly take a dip and cool down (especially for the kids). When looking at accommodation options, we originally didn't think we'd need a pool because we thought we'd always be out and about and at the beach, but we spent most of our time in it or around it every morning and evening - the pool house is perfect for pre-dinner drinks in the shade while the kids keep swimming, and there is even a bar with fridge/freezer in the pool house! We hope to come back again someday.

By Stephen Thomas on 08-Jul-2024A huge beautiful pool and pool house, tennis court and table tennis. Kitchens well equipped with plenty of fridges ! Its a perfect stay for 3 generations with masses of space . TV covered all our sporting needs with the Euros and Wimbledon!!
