Set on a cliff top, with a breathtaking view over Lagos Bay, Alvor estuary and Monchique mountains, in an area natural beauty but only 5 km away from Portimão. There is a seawater swimming pool (free access for resident guests) with Snack-bar (speciality: prawns) carved on the cliff top and set among a unique scenery. The access to the beach is made through a lift built within the rocks, which also leads to a bar-Restaurant right on the beach.Besides having 3 tennis courts, one squash court, is close to several of the best golf courses in the Algarve, the closest on is PENINA GOLF COURSE. And water sport at Alvor beach.

The villa is immaculate with beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms , spacious excellently equipped kitchen and utility as well as spacious and comfortable living areas. A new BBQ area is an excellent addition. The host is extremely helpful as were all the team. We can’t recommend it enough!! Looking forward to returning
Avoid this property
By Martina Mc Caffrey on 26-Jun-2024I booked this accommodation in February for my stay 11 nights in June for a family of 7 people! I had all my communication with Maria who confirmed my booking took flight details etc.. I paid in full for my accommodation before arrival! All was good, until my flight was delayed by an hour and 15 min which left me late checking in, I presumed as it was on the grounds of hotel I would be ok! However I emailed Maria on route from airport to advise her of my delay!! When I got to hotel just after 12, I tried to call Maria and the owner but neither of them took my call!! I then received an email from Maria “ only receive your message now. TO LATE You should folowed instructions on routing. You should call the owner not me. NOT MAILED There is no one to open door for you, now. There is a hotel in the complex I AM AFRAID You hva to sleep there for to night.” I ended up having to pay €700 at hotel reception for accommodation… which Maria or Mr Moreira refuse to refund me!! We had to vacate from our temporary accommodation by 10 next morning!! Then I again tried to call Maria and Mr Moreira to locate a key!! Maria asked me to meet housekeeper at 12 in a health centre which has closed down! Then in a cafe which was also closed down!! After a lot of phone calls, my stress levels were at a all time high I phone simply owners because I now thought I had been scammed, they were very helpful they assured me that Maria did exit, and arranged for housekeeper to meet us at hotel (Which always should have been meeting place) I finally got the key @ 2pm (13.5 hours after my arrival) The accommodation was good and had all facilities for our group.. However when we got settle in we realized we needed a band to get to beach and Atlantic pool, I went to reception again Maria or mr Mr Moreira had not advised hotel we were staying in his apartment so we had a further 24 hours to wait to get access to facilities… I feel so disappointed in the way we were treated.. no apologies I think it’s a poor reflection on Portuguese hospitality… i
A beautiful house at the beach.
By Laura on 24-Jul-2024This was our 3rd time staying at this house. It is a beautiful and spacious house. The house had everything we needed for the perfect family holiday. This year there was a new built in barbecue. The house is in a beautiful location with gorgeous views of ocean. Prainha is a great resort and Alvor is a lovely town. We hope to return in the future.
The best holiday

Amazing Holiday
By Laura on 22-Aug-2022Our family of 5 with 3 kids stayed here in August 2022. We loved everything about our holiday at this Villa. Its spacious and beautify decorated. The views from the Villa are gorgeous. We loved the roof terrace, outdoor and indoor patios. Every day we went to the Atlantic pool and the beach, both are very close to the Villa. Prainha resort is fabulous with the Canico cliff bar and restaurant, Miss patsa restaurant, Piscina snack bar and the orange market etc. Most nights we walked into Alvor town which is about a 30 minute walk on the boardwalk. We cant wait to return.
