Description
Vila Da Praia ApartmentsThis spacious two bed apartment is set in a private gated complex. An ideal location 300m from the beach, 300m from the Alvor harbour.
Alvor is a former fishing village that has become a popular holiday destination. The village retains its original Portuguese charm and is renowned for its beautiful location. The village is situated on the Ria de Alvor Estuary which is regarded as one of the most important wetlands system in the Western Algarve and is a haven for wildlife. Alvor beach is a superb sandy beach stretching over 3.5 km from the harbour lighthouse at one end to the beautiful Praia dos Tres Irmaos at the other. This beach is famous for its beautiful cliffs and coves. The village has a large selection of excellent restaurants and some lively bars. Along the beautiful harbour front there are opportunities to book boat trips along the coast to look for dolphins, cliffs and caves or to go fishing.
There is a large living area with seating and dining table. A modern kitchen with a breakfast bar and a South facing balcony with a view over the nature reserve to the sea. There is also a guest toilet off the main living area. There are two bedrooms, sleeping five people. Both bedrooms are ensuite. One with three single beds and views over the village and the other with a Super-King size bed and a South facing balcony with a view over the nature reserve to the sea.

By Helen McDaid on 01-Jun-2025We’ve stayed here a few times and in fact rebooked again for next year as soon as we got back. It’s got everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The apartment itself is just fab and bathrooms and kitchen updated recently. Plenty of space, immaculately clean, 2 balconies with great views, really lovely pool area and the kitchen has everything you need. If you want to cook in. Close to the main restaurants and tv, the beach and the boardwalk.
Fabulous in every way
By Robjo460 on 01-May-2016Consider myself very fortunate to have been able to stay in Michael's wonderful apartment. Excellent location for the beach and Alvor, just a few minutes walk to each. Apartment was very spacious and extremely clean and comfortable. All amenities provided. The 2 balconies ensured we could have the sun shining on us all day. Would highly recommend to anyone who wishes to visit the area to stay here. I have already provisionally booked for 2017
Lovely Alvor holiday

We enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the pool. Contact with Michael, the owner is super from start to finish. We will be back. Thanks.

The apartment has everything in it you could need. Great balconies overlooking the pool and sea in the distance. Michael was great from the moment of booking. He was in constant communication with me. This deserves 5 stars as it is definitely a place that feels like home. Alvor also has the best selection of restaurants you can find. A great holiday had by all. Booked again for next year.
Fantastic apartment
By Anna Godber on 01-Aug-2003We have just come back from a week in Alvor staying at the villa de Praia. The apartment was so spacious, clean and comfortable -everything we needed and more. Perfect location looking out onto the pool and the sea. The apartment has 2 balconies which we’re really nice to have. Air conditioning in all the rooms was much needed and very effective. The apartment has 2 pools and my 2 girls 10, 13 loved playing in the pool all day. The apartment is situated about 5-10 minutes from the bars, restaurants and shops. As a family we all agreed this holiday was just spot on and thankyou Michael for all the valuable information and helpful communication about our trip. Would definitely recommend this apartment!
