Constructed respecting the traditional Kefalonian architecture, Charis is a graciously simple, supremely relaxing Villa in the uncrowded south-west corner of the island.
Villa Charis, named after one of Zeus graces, means, first of all, joy; the joy that one radiates when one is characterized by kind feelings, but also the joy and delight it evokes in those around one, and of kindness and gratitude. Charis is built on an area plot called “Zeus Orchard” which was cultivated for olive oil and wine by monks living on the island Dias during the 1800’s.
Villa Charis is accessed through a private road and is surrounded by green fields, olive groves and by lush Ionian vegetation.
Villa Charis sleeps two guests across with one master bedroom, separate fully equipped kitchen and a spacious living area, with elevated vaulted ceiling flowing discreetly to the large patio doors over-looking the sea view, salt water infinity pool and garden.

I have a difficult decision- tell you truthfully how wonderful the place and people were or risk not being able to go back because it is too busy . The place is a joy, perfectly sized for two people. Everything has been thought about and provided. You don’t have to go out unless you wish. The house, is beside two others but designed in such a way to be entirely private. There is no overlooking. 180 degree view south to west. So the best of the sun and the most spectacular sunset. As I said heaven on earth.

Everything about this Villa with all addons is done to perfection and well thought through construction and position. Villa Charis is the most peacfull and relaxing place of all Greek islands that we have travelled. There is no traffic or any obstructions below property which gives a person a peacfull and calmfull experience of a deserved holiday. Infinity pool gives an marvelous feeling as one was swimming in the sea looking directly to it until sun goes down and another day passes by. Owners are very professional, organized and the level of their hospitality is on the highest standard, keeping the Villa and its surroindings clean and well maintained. Their staff are alwas available for any question or help if needed, so a person feels very safe and in good hands. Thank you for hosting us and as we arrived as guests, we left as friends and will charish the moments we spent in Villa Charis. "p.s. the traditional meat pie made by grandmother was the best ever"

Highly recommend it to anyone looking for privacy , peace and relaxation. Kosta is a great host, friendly and preoccupied all the time for his guests. We hope to return and enjoy again this beautiful setting with superb sunset view
