Description
Casa Irena is a hugely spacious and well decorated 4 bedroomed villa with pool, just 5 mins walk to the village.On one level only, all 4 bedrooms are off the huge lounge and fully air conditioned throughout. Access to the roof terrace is via a set of stairs and from here, there are superb sea views with table and chairs for an evening drink to watch the sunset. With just a 5 min walk to get to many restaurants, shops, mini mercado's and bars, guests really do not need to hire a car unless they wanted to tour the Algarve. There is a choice of two beaches within 10 mins walk (Centianes and Carvoeiro Beaches). Centianes has the O Stop Restaurant perched at the side of the beach and the views from here are wonderful.
The villa has lockable gates from the main entrance leading into the drive area where there is ample room for several vehicles. The front door leads into the large open planned lounge and dining area where there is a log burning fire (for winter guests), 42" wall mounted LG TV screen, DVD, good speed wi-fi (free of charge), 2 x air conditioning units, and comfortable seating on 2 large sofas. There is also a large table with 8 chairs in the dining area. Directly outside the lounge, accessed by patio doors, is the external dining area with large table and 8 chairs. The pool terrace area has 8 sunbeds, parasols, an external shower and a purpose built brick BBQ and the whole grounds are surrounded by mature and well manicured gardens which provide privacy and security for children wanting to play.
There are 4 bedrooms (2 doubles, 2 twins) all with air con units and 3 newly refurbished modern bath/shower rooms. Bedrooms are elegantly decorated in bright colour schemes with huge integrated wardrobes and all windows have external shuttering with fly screens. The kitchen has everything that the owners could think of regarding cutlery, crockery, utensils and electrical equipment. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle, microwave and cooker with oven. The swimming pool has gentle entry steps with railing at the shallow end (0.8metres) and the deep end is 1.80 metres. Pool heating is available at additional cost if required. This lovely villa will take a maximum of 8 adults (or mix of adults and children) plus 1 baby in a cot.
This villa has every ingredient for a safe and fun packed family holiday and is fully licenced under the Town Hall Alojamento Local reference 33950/AL.

By James Miller on 06-Sep-2025Our second time at Casa Irena. Terrific location in quiet residential area but close to shops, bars and restaurants of Carvoeira. Villa has large lounge area with 4 good sized bedrooms, lovely pool and outdoor areas. Would recommend.

A great villa
By Katy on 02-Aug-2025Lovely villa full of character, with absolutely everything we needed for a holiday. Outdoor space was lovely, different areas to sit in for all the family to enjoy. The pool area was brilliant. Air conditioning was really good and in all rooms. Bedrooms where spacious and beds comfortable. We went with extended family and we all felt we had lots of space. Great location and easy to walk to restaurants, shops and the beach. We would definitely recommend and definitely stay again.

Superb villa in great location
By Caroline R on 05-Jul-2025We spent a great two weeks at this excellent villa. It was extremely well equipped with everything you could want. The pool was a big hit with the kids and lots of lovely outdoor seating areas. Great choice of restaurants within a 5 minute walk and a 15 minute walk to the beach. Lots of places of interest within a 20 minute drive and the villa was the perfect spot to explore the region from.

Wonderful villa in excellent location
By Geoff & Jo on 24-May-2025Casa Irena is a lovely, spacious villa with great outside space and fully equipped inside. Carvoeiro beach, bars and restaurants are a short walk away. We particularly enjoyed the pool, and the variety of seating areas. A great place for a relaxed break.

Wonderful Villa

The villa is large, spacious and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is so well equipped you will want for nothing. The pool area is fabulous with ample comfortable seating and the gardens are so well kept. It is literally a 5 min walk to the centre of Carvoeiro so perfect for anybody who is not renting a car. I would highly recommend this villa…….you won’t be disappointed!
