Pool is seriously good. Privacy excellent
The townhouses at Colina Branca are true traditional Portugese style with EVERYTHING you need included.... cleaning products, ironing board, fans, hairdryer, ALL kitchen utensils ... even shot glasses and a wide range of crockery and pots and pans, books. playing cards, candles ....we didn't want for anything. The outdoor terraces are amazing and always cool inside the house due to marble stairs and tiles. It is a very quiet residential area and the pool was empty for most of our 10 day stay. 10 minute walk into town. The hill is very steep but we knew this as we are familiar with the area so it was good daily exercise. Carvoeiro is a beautiful small town and the sunset at Carvoeiro boardwalk is a MUST SEE! I would 100% recommend this townhouse and Susie the host was great ! Thanks for a brilliant stay.
Susie is a great host, she upgraded us to a different house with even better view. There were 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, all super clean. The layout of the house is quite uniqie with bedrooms in the lowest level which was actually great because even when it was hot outside, it was nice and cool in the bedroom. No need for AC. Each room has a small balcony, there's also larger balcony next to living room (with sunbeds and table and chairs and BBQ!), we loved eating breakfast there and enjoy the view of the town and ocean. There's also a rooftop terrace with even better, unobstructed view over Carvoeiro and ocean. PERFECT! We loved spending evenings there with a glass of wine. And there is also place to hang your laundry after washing. WiFi was fast, kitchen had all equipment we might need for cooking, again everything perfectly clean. Right outside the house you have your own parking spot, it's so convenient if you have a large luggage. It was great to have a safe parking spot for our rented car, and not having to search for parking place in those tiny streets! The pool was a fantastic bonus, quite big and usually we had it just for ourselves (only once there were 3 people beside us), it's not heated but not cold either. Just perfect after a day in the sun exploring beaches. The location is nice too, 8 minutes on foot to the city and ocean, close to restaurants and bars, but in a very quiet and peaceful street, no noise at night at all. The house is located uphill, but the views are SO WORTH IT. We would love to come back!
