Situated in the heart of Carvoeiro village at Lote 9 Rua de Barranco, (the out road) this immaculate two bedroom Colina Verde apartment is on the third floor, with lift access and has air conditioning throughout for year round comfort with double glazing. Two private balconies and quality furnishings. Child friendly. WiFiUnlike most properties in Carvoeiro this property is located on a flat level road with a flat level four minute walk to beautiful Carvoeiro beach. It is therefore perfect for those with limited mobility as there are no hills to navigate in accessing this property!
It is fully licensed in accordance with the Portuguese AL rental regime 9577/AL and as such the location, ownership and facilities are all verified so complete peace of mind is included. Experienced property managers are available locally should you need assistance.
This apartment has two lifts and is at the rear of the building so there is no noise to disturb you. The lounge has comfortable seating which includes a sofa bed on which guests 5 and 6 sleep. DVDs can be viewed on the tv. Wifi. Dining table with 6 chairs.
Lounge patio doors lead to one of two private balconies and a table and chairs enable el fresco dining.
The modern fully fitted and equipped kitchen has everything needed for your self catering needs and a door leading onto the lounge balcony.
The master bedroom has a king size bed with dressing table and full length mirror.
The second bedroom has two single beds. Patio door access to the second balcony is from each of the bedrooms.
One of the lounge sofas converts to a sofa bed to sleep guests 5 and 6 if required. Prices shown are for up to 4 guests. Fifth and sixth guest incur additional fee please ask.
One family bathroom with bath and shower over bath and one wc off the hallway.
There is one allocated private secure garaged car parking space for visitors to this apartment. The car park is easily accessible and is on the ground floor of the building at street level.
The property is in the heart of Carvoeiro village with all amenities within easy walking distance including the main Carvoeiro beach with its golden sand and square providing nightly live entertainment peak season.
Carvoeiro was a fishing village which despite its development has retained its picturesque appeal and is extremely popular with families. There are many golden sandy beaches within short ten minute drives. Slide and splash water park is a five minute drive and Zoomarine 20 minutes away.
Restaurants and cafes to suit all tastes and pockets are plentiful. Taxis, Ubers and buses are available. Carvoeiro clube de Tenis with padel and exercise classes is nearby.
Guests are required to complete a booking form to safeguard their interests and those of the owner and manager. Visitors to short term rental properties in Portugal are required to provide their identification details ahead of their stay.
Tourist tax is included in the advertised price. One hundred pound / euro security deposit is payable in addition to the advertised prices. This is refunded after departure assuming no losses or damages.
25% non refundable deposit required with the balance paid eight weeks before arrival.
Weekly maid cleaning and change of bedding and towels. Beach towels not provided these can be purchased locally at low cost.
Cot and highchair available for small additional fee please ask in advance. Airport Transfers door to door can be arranged if required. No smoking or hen stag parties

By Mike Benniston on 07-May-2025This is the third time I’ve visited apt U Colina verde Carvoeiro and each time I’ve found the property location and facilities to be perfect and very well maintained. The garage parking space is a big bonus together with lift access. The beds are very comfortable. The village location just minutes on foot from the beach can’t be beaten. I will return!
Step free, comfortable and quiet apartment in Carvoeiro
By Martin S on 21-Jun-2022The apartment is accessible from a quiet road in the centre of Carvoeiro. Parking spaces are available outside and there is a communal garage, but we did not use it. The entrance to the block is step free and there are two lifts. The mobility scooter (length 106cm) could fit in the lift and we used a walker in the apartment. Fully air conditioned with units in each room. The two bedrooms, one with a large double bed and the second with two single beds were very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The main bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower, WC and sink. There is a second toilet and sink. The sitting room has a comfortable sofa and chairs, a dining table for up to 6 people and direct access to a small terrace. The kitchen is well equipped, towels and beach toys are provided. There is a small convenience store 50m from the front entrance. The wonderful beach and a huge selection of restaurants are a 7-10 minute walk away. We didn’t hire a car and could eat in a different restaurant every night and shop for essentials at the 3 convenience stores close by. We had a wonderful time and appreciated the step free access.
Perfect Winter Break
By Sonia on 10-Jan-2025Our second time here and it's still as good as we remember! We came in January so a little quieter (and cooler) but still a fabulous, relaxing break. The apartment has everything our family needed, it's really well equipped. The beds are very comfortable and there were even some toys and games for the kids. We'll be back again in the summer, the apartment is wonderful and we love Carvoeiro!
Fantastic Family Stay In Carvoeiro!
By Jenny Shaw on 07-Sep-2024We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully furnished apartment in Carvoeiro as a family of four with two young children (4 & 6 years old). The apartment had everything we needed, from a fully equipped kitchen to thoughtful touches like beach toys for the kids. The location was absolutely perfect—right in the heart of town with shops, cafes, and bars just steps away. Despite being so central, it was peaceful at night since the bedrooms don’t face the street, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The beach is fantastic and only a 5-minute walk along a flat road, making it super easy even with little ones in tow. We loved how convenient everything was, and the apartment truly felt like a home away from home. We would highly recommend this place and would love to return in the future!
Great apartment, great location - perfect!

It has everything you need for a family holiday - even toys and games for the kids. Everything you need is on your doorstep, fantastic restaurants and bars just a short stroll away, the beach is stunning and the views from the coastal walks are breathtaking. We will be back!

By Val R on 20-Oct-2023Loved it. Not been back to Carvoiero for many years and I’m happy to say this village is still just as beautiful as ever. The golden sandy beach with its limestone cliffs makes my heart sing and the locals are the friendliest people. The property had absolutely everything I needed and more. Woke every morning to glorious sunshine and bird song then across the road to Tony’s for a hearty breakfast to start the day. Needed a doctor and Elaine was very helpful and reassuring as she was throughout the entire process from my first contact with her. Thank you and I will return
