Description
The villa (with a FRIDAY changeover) has its own secure and private grounds, unseen from the road, in an established residential area 10mins walk from Carvoeiro beach and a huge selection of restaurants, bars and shops.The villa is on 3 levels, and the master bedroom suite occupies the whole of the top floor with an emperor sized bed, dressing room, built in safe, and en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower, and ‘his & hers’ basins. Outside, there is a large south facing terrace with panoramic views of Carvoeiro and the sea - perfect for a sunset aperitif!
The ground floor has two en-suite double bedrooms (one king, one twin). The lounge is semi-circular with French windows and a balcony with views of the sea and Carvoeiro. There is a large kitchen/breakfast room, a guest cloakroom, and a dining area leading through French windows to a covered outdoor eating area for 8 which opens out to a private walled courtyard with built in BBQ and further seating areas.
The apartment is on the lower floor at swimming pool level, and has a large lounge/bedroom with twin beds and seating areas. There is a wet room and a separate kitchen with French windows leading to a private terrace with table and seating for two.
The 10m x 5m kidney shaped pool is accessed by a lockable gate and has easy steps at the shallow end. The pool and pool terrace are enclosed, providing a secure environment for children. There are sun loungers for 8, a covered seating area, plus bar and fridge.
Outside, there are extensive tropical gardens (fenced and hedged all round), and additional seating areas. There is a car port for two cars and plenty of additional parking. Access is via an electric gate at the top of the driveway operated by coded keypads and an intercom system.
There is an alarm system monitored 24x7 by a security company.
Solar pool heating is included (as long as there is sunshine), but there may be the odd cloudy day even in Summer! The pool is not covered at night.
Maid service, pool cleaning and gardener twice per week. Local English speaking management.
Cots and Highchairs are available, but please request when booking.
Car hire is not essential as the beach, shops, and restaurants etc. are only a short walk down the hill (uphill on the way back!). However, car hire is advisable for exploring further afield. Taxis/Ubers are readily available.
Equipment
The owners use the villa as their second home, so it is well equipped.
There is full fibre high speed internet and mesh wifi throughout.
The kitchen is fully equipped with range cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster & utensils etc. and a washing machine for guests’ use in the apartment.
The lounge has a 55” 4K TV with UK Freeview in full HD, and apps for Netflix, Prime etc. (subscription required)
All bedrooms and the lounge are equipped with fans.
Changeover days
Changeover days are Fridays: other days are possible but may incur additional costs. Please call for details.
Tourist tax
Since April 2024 a tourist tax has been introduced by the local council. This is €2 per person per night in the high season (capped at 7 nights), for all guests of 13 yrs and over. This will be added to the cost of the rental to avoid clients having to pay whilst on holiday.

By Anna Oldham on 11-Jul-2025We have not long returned from our first visit to the fabulous Casa Dos Seis Arcos in Carvoeiro. You are greeted by a beautiful long driveway set amongst beautiful well-maintained gardens. The pool area is clean with stunning views of the town and the sea with ample seating for those who want to sit in the shade. The fridge in the pool bar area was a big plus as there was no need to return to the house for refreshments. The villa itself was immaculately clean and really was like home from home. The villa is perfect for multiple or larger families with generously sized en-suite bedrooms and numerous seating areas both inside and outside. The town centre is a short walk from the villa (down a VERY steep hill) with ample restaurants to pick from. Booking is advised for some of them. Our favourite was Boneca Bar. I can highly recommend if you want a meal with a view. (we booked several weeks ahead online). It’s about a 30-minute walk or you can get an Uber for around 5 Euros. I would like to say a big thank you to Val who has been absolutely wonderful and also to Nina the Villa Manager who was also very helpful. We hope to return one day! The Oldham-Iliffe Family
ANOTHER GREAT TIME AT THIS WONDERFUL VILLA
By Jo Allen on 05-Jul-2025Back for a third visit to the beautiful Casa Dos Seis Arcos, Carvoeiro and although only for a week this time it is starting to feel like coming home! Amazing weather, fun family time by the pool, relaxing meals in Carvoeiro and visit’s to Lagos, Praia da Luz and Ferragudo. I love that the villa is so perfect for multi generational families, plenty of space to come together but also lots of relaxing private seating areas, perfect for relaxing in. The staff that come in to change bedding, check on the pool and tend to the gardens are so friendly, and Nina the villa manager is always on the end of the phone should you have any queries. Many thanks to Val for all of her help, & of course thank you to the owners for once again letting us share their home from home. The Allan family
Wonderful villa
By Christine Harvey on 18-Jul-2025Fabulous week in this beautiful villa. Worked perfectly for 3 generations. A home that is very comfortable and well equiped. Lots of different areas to enjoy sun, shade or a bit of peace and quiet if thats what you are looking for. We especially enjoyed the covered cabbana area at the bbq and the top terrace with the fantastic view. The pool was perfect too. Super clean and enjoyed by all. A little shaded seating area by the pool worked well with little ones (and big ones!). Fantastic location just a few mins walk from the town and elevated enough for amazing views. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute here and hope to return. Many thanks to the owners for sharing their home. Harvey/Shaw families
What a beautiful villa this is!
By Clapham on 13-Aug-2022What a beautiful villa this is! It exceeded our expectations with amazing views and so much space for our family group of 8. The gardens were well kept and so pretty! There were so many different seating areas. We enjoyed the conservatory seating area in the evenings. My parents had the pool side apartment which was great, it was nice and cool and gave them their own space. We spent lots of time around the gorgeous pool and having the shaded area was perfect on a hot Summer day. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The house was hot at times and would benefit from air conditioning in at least the living area, where we could have cooled down in the spacious living room. I realise this can often be abused which is a real shame, but we would have paid extra to feel comfortable (there were however fans). The villa is on a steep hill down to the town, but there are plenty taxis available to avoid coming back up the hill. Our transfers arranged by Val were excellent! Thank you for a wonderful holiday in an amazing villa!

Wonderful 3 generation holiday
By Richardson on 01-Aug-202325th July - 1st August We have just returned from a wonderful 3 generation holiday to the beautiful Casa Dos Seis Arcos. This villa is stunning with well kept gardens , plenty of different shaded seating areas and of course the pool which was a great hit with all the family. It is a steep walk downhill to Carvoiero, which of course means a steep walk uphill back to the villa, but by the end of the week we had got used to this. Having visited Carvoiero over 20 years ago it was lovely to see that it remains relatively unchanged with plenty of restaurants and bars catering for all tastes. We had a great boat trip from the beach along the coast visiting lots of caves. If we had to make 1 suggestion that would for a bottle of water to be left in the fridge for our arrival. This would have been greatly appreciated, as before we could relax we had to make the walk into town to get some drinks, after our journey from the airport. We would like to thank the owners for letting us stay in their wonderful home,and also many thanks to Val for all your help and advice from booking to the excellent transfers you arranged .Will look forward to returning The Richardson Family
