Casa Colina

A fantastic and comfortable air-conditioned 4 bed villa in the leafy and quiet area of Vale de Milho, a short drive of a few mins or 20-25 mins walk to the centre. The villa will sleep up to 8 adults (or mix of adults and children) plus 1 baby in a cot. A cot and highchair are included in the price. There are 4 bedrooms, two twins and two doubles, (latter with guests valuables safe) and 3 bathrooms, two of which are en-suite. The two twin rooms can remain as twins or can be joined to make double beds.
The third bathroom is shared by the two twin bedrooms. Bedroom 1 en-suite has stand-alone shower, double sink, WC and bidet. Bedroom 2 en-suite has stand-alone shower, sink and WC. The third bathroom has bath with shower, double sink and WC and is shared by the twin bedrooms. An additional cloakroom with WC and sink is just off the hallway. The lounge has multiple comfortable seating and has a TV with English and many other international channels. A good internet/wi-fi line is supplied free of charge. During winter rentals there is a log fire in the lounge which throws out amazing amounts of heat. For winter rentals of over 3 weeks we can apply some discount on the advertised prices.
Carvoeiro is an old fishing village which is now a great tourist area with plenty to do in the local areas and within a 30 mins drive. There are 101 restaurants with different cuisines in the village and quality bars and cafes everywhere. In the local area there are two 18 hole championship golf courses, an Aqua park (Slide & Splash) within 10 mins drive of the centre. An aquatic show venue is within 20 mins drive (Zoomarine) where you can swim with dolphins. Silves with it's picturesque castle and the local town of Lagoa are minutes drive away too. Guests can hire tennis courts at the close by Rocha Brava or at the Carvoeiro Tennis Club where you can also use the gym on a pay by visit basis. The local Vale de Milho par 3, 9 hole course is just minutes walk away from the villa. There are 4 x supermarkets in the area and many mini-mercados for 'dailies' in the village itself. At the ALDI supermarket in Lagoa a padel court is available for hire for those wanting to play.
Casa Colina is on one level and all 4 bedrooms are air conditioned. There are a few steps down to the pool and terrace area where there are two main seating areas for relaxation with table and chairs. A purpose built BBQ is adjacent to both for al fresco dining.
The pool is approx 9.5 x 4.8 metres with an adjoining children's/toddler's pool at one end. The two seating areas are very close by to provide easy supervision of children when in the pool. There are gates that can be closed off to prohibit toddlers from entering the pool area for added safety. Around the terrace there are 6 sunbeds, 2 lounge beds and two huge parasols for shade if required. There is also a sunshade above the pool terrace area outside the lounge.
Check in is 1500 and check out is 1000. If we have any flexibility with these times, we may allow earlier entry and later check out.
The journey from Faro Airport to Carvoeiro is approximately 45 minutes and if information is required regarding transfers, please just ask. These are usually more economic than the standard taxi fares and the local company we use know where all the apartments and villas are located so no delay in reaching them. There is parking at the villa for several cars and a car port is available for shaded parking.
We require a 25% deposit to seal dates, then the balance plus a returnable breakages and damages deposit is required 2 calendar months prior to arrival. Please note that since early 2024 a tourist tax is payable on arrival of 2 euros per day (max 7 days) for guests over 13 years of age.
Casa Colina has every ingredient for a fun packed family holiday in a peaceful and safe area and is fully licenced under AL 76247/AL by the local government.
