Description
This stunning, modern villa is set in a peaceful location with mature sub tropical gardens, close to many beautiful beaches, a variety of bars and restaurants, shops, golf and tennis.The nearest beach, Praia do Centianes, is just a 15-20 minute walk away and within 5 minutes drive there are many more fabulous beaches to choose from. The lighthouse bar and restaurant at Clube Golfemar with its panaromaic sea view and children's play area is just a 5 minute walk away. A small supermarket at the Rocha Brava resort is within easy walking distance and there are numerous large supermarkets within 5 minutes drive.
The villa is ideal for groups or families sleeping 10-12. There are 5 bedrooms all with en-suites and a ground floor games room that can be used as a 6th bedroom for children if required. On the ground floor is a bedroom with a king size bed. On the first floor there are three twin bedroom and the master bedroom with king size bed and plasma tv. Doors lead from the master bedroom onto a large balcony terrace with a lovely view over the pool and gardens.
The villa has a modern, fully equipped kitchen and a large open plan lounge and dining area with patio doors opening out onto the terrace and pool area. The living room has a large plasma television, cable tv with english channels, a playstation 3, and cd/ dvd player, books
The children’s games room has a football table, toy chest, bean bags and sofa, ideal to keep the kids entertained and out of the sun at the hottest part of the day!
The villa is air conditioned throughout and also has underfloor heating and a wood burner for the winter months.
The outside of the property centres around a large 12 x 6m kidney shaped swimming pool (which can be heated for an additional fee). Next to the pool is a covered terrace with a large dining table and chairs and table tennis Set back a little higher in the garden is a lit barbecue terrace area with a circular table and chairs, giving two alfresco dining options at this lovely property. There is also a lawned area with football goal and basketball net, providing a perfect area for children to play safely away from the poolside.
The villa is accessed by electric gates and is fully fenced in. It has electric roller shutters and alarm making it a safe and secure place to spend your holiday.

We take 20% deposit and balance 8 weeks prior to arrival. We also take £400 refundable damage deposit.

Fabulous villa for a family holiday

The Villa is very well equipped and ideally located in a quiet area near the beautiful town of Carvoeiro. A few good restaurants within easy walking distance. The kitchen is very spacious and well equipped, the beds are all very comfy and the pool area very nice. Communication throughout the booking process with Liz was excellent, she was very helpful and responsive. Another useful tip - we arranged a shopping delivery for the day of our arrival with Apolonia, who were really excellent in meeting our requirements. We all had a really fabulous holiday and will look to return.

The house and pool are spotlessly clean with everything you need in the kitchen. Shops and restaurants are walkable with the larger supermarkets a short drive away. This is our second stay and hope it will not be our last.
Lovely family villa - great location
By Emma on 11-Jun-2023Just got back from 10 days in Villa Gemma. We had a great stay. Very spacious, plenty of room for the 10 of us. 6 adults and 4 children. Lovely kitchen and living area. Everything you could possibly need for your stay. Pool towels, bath towels, hairdryers, etc.. Bedrooms all great sized, each with en suite. Outdoor area was brilliant. Pool was lovely, grass area for the kids to play football, bbq area and seating area. Ping pong table and football goals. Felt safe, could relax and know the kids were safe and couldn''t go anywhere. In a great location at the end of a quiet road. Restaurants in walking distance, Indian restaurant 5 mins away, which was amazing! 10 minute drive to Aldi, which was cheap or there was a shop down the road for bits (but was expensive). Carvoveiro Square was a 10 minute uber ride costing around €7. Plenty of restaurants and shops there. The beach was a 15 minute walk away, had a lovely cafe there and the cliff top walk. There is building work quite close to the villa but we barely noticed they were there. No noise at all. It was very quiet at night, no noise from the other villas. We had a great holiday, the weather was amazing, and would highly reccomend to anyone. Thank you!
Great house
By Camy2014 on 25-Oct-2022Just back from a lovely stay at Villa Gemma. There were 6 adults and we had room to spare. Great outside areas for sunbathing and socialising in the evening. Large kitchen helpful too.
A little piece of paradise
By Gary F on 14-Sep-2020Not a bad word can be said about the villa, from the air conditioning, to en-suites in every bedroom. The pool was excellent and just the right size if you wanted to open up and do a few lengths. Paul and cindy were great hosts and always there if we had any queries. Already thinking about coming back next year
