Description
Villa in Carvoeiro, Algarve - Only 800m to Town Centre and BeachCasa Cassandra is a character villa built in a typical Algarvian style with wooden beam and cane ceilings. This is a homely, well furnished, fully equipped villa with 3 comfortable bedrooms (2 doubles and a twin) and 2 bathrooms and a heated pool (optional).
All bedrooms have air-conditioning which also doubles up as heating during winter months. Wi-fi internet (free of charge). The windows are double glazed with secure shutters and the there is an alarm and electric gates to the road.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary appliances such as washing machine and dishwasher, plenty cutlery and crockery for those who enjoy cooking and meals at the villa.
The villa is surrounded by a mature garden and enclosed by hedging/fencing offering privacy and security. Its feature is its excellent position on top of the hill overlooking Carvoeiro, 800m from the town centre and the nearest beach. Carvoeiro itself is an old fishing village grown into a small residential seaside town with a lot to offer: beaches, restaurants, bars, shops, golf, tennis and other outdoor activities and sports - all without high-risers or big apartment blocks.
Children's amenities such as cots, highchairs, and a steriliser are available free of charge. The villa is on one level and although not especially adapted for disabled it is suitable for people with slight mobility problems.
This a non-smoking villa indoors.
Large covered terrace and barbecue/pool area including 6 sunbeds. The non-chlorine pool (10 x 5m) can be heated for an extra cost of 250€/week and it has a shallow end for children. Beautiful mature garden, with trees and shrubs, surrounds the villa and there are electric gates to the road so the young ones are safe and cannot escape.
Good quality bedding, linen and towels including separate pool/beach towels. Maid service Includes mid-week clean.
We follow Covid-19 Cleaning procedures (Clean&Safe) as recommended by the Portuguese Tourism Board.
Changeover day Thursday in the summer season.

By Les Webb on 04-Jul-2024The villa was great. The garden and pool was lovely. The location is really perfect, with local shop and restaurants within 2 mins walk. The resort beach is within just over a 10 min walk. The cliff top wooden broadway is with 5 min walk. Would highly recommend this villa.
Brilliant stay
By Toby A on 04-Jul-2024Lovely traditional villa. We had a brilliant stay at Casa Cassandra. The villa was even better than the photos & had a homely feel. Location is great, close to lots of restaurants & the beach. Kids loved the pool! We will definitely be back!
A perfect holiday retreat.
By Lisa Dann on 06-May-2023What a perfect holiday villa in a lovely town by the sea. Having not been away for over 10 years this felt like home from home. We felt very secure in our private villa with a lovely sized pool within the electric gates and even had friendly gecko's as live in security. Sam our host was exceptionally friendly and always on hand if you have any queries. Happily arranged our taxi back to the airport which we wished we had enquired about for when we landed but now we know to do so on our next visit. We look forward to returning very soon.

Fantastic villa and owner
By Sandra on 16-Jun-2022A very homely clean and well appointed villa. Superb pool area and location. Nice free food and drink package which is very handy if on a late flight. Sam was over and above helpful. Unfortunately I will have to highly recommend Casa Casandra….I say unfortunately because it will probably mean it’ll get harder and harder to re-book !!
