Set on a corner plot which is fully enclosed extending to 2500q m,Entrance is through electric wooden gates.
Beautiful mature gardens and sunbathing areas next to 12m x 6m salt water system pool- which is kinder to skin, There is an all weather Padel Tennis court which is floodlit and table tennis together with a 3 hole putting green.
INSIDE there is a large lounge area with comfortable seating., a log burning fire,large tv- with uk channels and A selection of games and books are provided.
Patio doors open out to a large spacious area which has a corner sofa for relaxation under a covered terrace
KITCHEN dining area is a large bright area with fridge/freezer . Kitchen fully equipped with dishwasher/2 ovens/microwave and coffee machine. Patio doors lead to the outside dining area which has a bbq and table/chairs to seat 8 persons
UTILITY ROOM has the washing machine and large fridge
BEDROOMS are all on suite and have spacious hanging wardrobes. Safe and hair dryers are provided in each bedroom
Air Con in all rooms
Villa is alarmed and security monitored
MAID SERVICE is once a week for towel change and a general tidy . If you wish you can have more cleaning time at a cost to you
Deposit is non returnable unless week/s rebooked
NB You will be required to provide PASSPORT details in advance of arrival, this is a LEGAL requirement in PORTUGAL
To secure booking-25% non refundable deposit required . If dates rebooked then the deposit will be returned
Tourist tax *******
Please note that on 13th April 2024 a new law was passed approving a new tourism tax (Taxa Municipal Turística de Lagoa).
All guests aged 13 years and over are required to pay this tax. The amount is €2 per person per night during high season (April - October) and €1 per person per night during low season (November
- March). There is a cap of 7 nights on the tax. Therefore for all reservations in excess of 7 nights, you still only pay the tax for 7.

Leave ReviewA good family villa
By Nikki Lloyd on 28-Sep-2025We had a good stay at Casa Rowan, it’s a very well equipped family Villa. There are plenty of activities, games etc to keep everyone occupied. Good spacious rooms and bathrooms. We enjoyed exploring the area as we haven’t been here before. We did have a couple of issues which I feel need to be addressed. The master bedroom and bathroom upstairs had a very unpleasant smell and this did seem to affect the other upstairs rooms by the end of the week. The terrace outside was very messy and not particularly clean and all the pool toys were dirty and just left in the outside shower. I had asked about the fact there was only one parasol and Margaret mention there was plenty of shade around the Villa, which we didn’t think was acceptable when we realised it meant that 6 out of 9, which included an 18 month old toddler could not sit by the pool as they needed a parasol. I do think a Villa for 8 people really needs at least 3/4 parasols? We also could not find a manual explaining how things in the Villa worked or any useful numbers or recommendations for local restaurants, taxis etc. Despite these issues, we did enjoy our stay.

Fabulous Family Get Away
By Jo & Family on 19-Oct-2025We spent a week at this fabulous villa - 4 adults and 2 children. The villa has the wow factor - it’s even better in person than the photos. Spotless, the comfiest of beds, softest towels and relaxing sun loungers. No expense has been spared. This is one of the best equipped villas we’ve ever stayed at, with everything we could need for our stay. Plenty of space for everyone to have some quiet time aswell as congregating around the pool / BBQ. The panel tennis was a great hit - especially being flood lit meaning we could play well into the evening when it was cooler. There’s a lovely little cafe and bakery a short walk away for essentials, and a great supermarket a 5 minute drive away. The host was incredibly responsive before and during our stay. We had a small issue with a wasps nest on arrival but a quick text to Margaret and pest control was out within a few hours. Overall an amazing villa - one of the best. We’re already planning a return visit.

A luxurious home from home

Large spacious rooms, very well appointed, wonderful pool / padel court / outside area and all within walking distance of good restaurants. The villa is spotless and very well maintained with an attentive team able to support if you have questions. We will certainly be coming again
Wonderful family house
By Jackie on 07-Jun-2025As a family of 5 adults and a toddler, we found Casa Rowan had everything we wanted; lots of space, a lovely pool, quiet location and great padel court. Margaret and Kenny were really responsive from the moment we made our enquiry and dealt with the one or two minor problems we had quickly and proactively. The house is really nicely equipped and I would say better than the photos suggest. We all felt really comfortable. And the icing on the cake for padel fans was a really good quality court with floodlights. We played every day. I can highly recommend Casa Rowan and we all said we’d be delighted to return.

Most amazing stay at Casa Rowan
By Leeann Toner on 28-Sep-2024Had the most amazing time at Casa Rowan with the family, 6 adults and 2 infants. Made so many great memories. The facilities are excellent cannot think of anything that it did not have. The views are absolutely beautiful. Pool area is massive the wee ones had a ball running/crawling about and can’t forget the men who had a great time playing padel and table tennis. The garden area is stunning and so well maintained. The whole villa inside and out is just stunning.
