A great villa, away from any roads (cul de sac position). Traditona; portugese property with a lovely sized pool and garden. Three full size double bedrooms. 10 mins walk from the centre (albeit a hilly walk). A great property for those with a family.
Loved our fortnight at 8B. The villa is perfect for a relaxing break, great having your own garden, terrace and pool that aren’t overlooked by neighbours. Inside the air conditioning was welcome some particularly hot nights, lots of hot water, comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen give you all that you need. Maid, pool cleaning and gardener came regularly and were high quality. Wider complex is lovely, the on site restaurant good quality. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed out time.
The two of us spent a very happy seventeen days here at the beginning of September. The house is immaculate and very comfortable. It is very well equipped and (importantly for me) has lots of books for essential holiday reading! 8B is very well maintained, everything works and it is quietly situated at the end of a no through road. A beautiful, peaceful and very private garden surrounds the pool - the perfect place for relaxing. If a change of scene is required it's a short, easy walk to the facilities of the main Quinta do Paraiso resort - restaurant, grocery shop, pools etc. We enjoyed a couple of meals at the Oliveira Restaurant there when we were too lazy to walk further. We ate out every night - there's such a good choice of eateries within walking distance. The only thing I would do differently would be to opt for the pool heating at this time of year. While my husband found the pool 'refreshing' it was a little cool for me. The booking process was very straightforward. The owner, Alison, is very accessible and more than happy to chat about the villa and answer any queries you may have. The information pack she provides is very comprehensive. We would have no hesitation in returning and would certainly recommend it to other holidaymakers.
