Description
Casa Isobel is a spacious, 4 bed villa with the benefit of a pool (pool heating at additional cost), air con, en suite sitting room to the master bedroom and 3 bath/shower rooms and cloakroom. Casa Isobel will sleep a max of 9 (8 adults or mix of adults and children, plus 1 baby in a cot). The villa is within walking distance of Carvoeiro centre and also approx 10 minutes walk to the beautiful Centeanes beach. The kitchen and the breakfast room are both modern and of good size with fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, oven and hob. There is a table and chairs in the breakfast area and this has patio doors to the garden. The dining area has the enclosed atrium leading off it with Portuguese tiled bench and table. The sitting room leads from the dining room and has three settees and flat screen TV. Patio doors lead off to the pool terrace with tables and chairs and bbq to one side. The pool is a good size with pool heating if required. All the bedrooms are good size with one on the ground floor having an en suite shower/bathroom and two bedrooms share a bath/shower room. There is also a separate cloakroom. The master bedroom, upstairs, with its en suite sitting room and shower room is a lovely space with good sized terrace with great views of the local countryside and sea. The villa has air con throughout - in the major rooms and has garden surrounding itWonderful villa, close to all amenities in Carvoeiro - approx 15 minutes walk to restaurants and bars and a further 5 minutes to the main beach and Square. Just off the popular Areias dos Moinhos area and is within an easy walk to Centeanes Beach.
Carvoeiro was a former fishing village and although now a thriving holiday resort, still retains much of it's charm. The town also has its own beach, with several more in the area within 15 minutes drive.
Also within approx 10 mins drive are 3 top 18 hole championship golf courses, a water park, and the town of Lagoa with its daily market and shops. A little further away (approx 20 mins drive) is Zoomarine, where one can swim with dolphins. Winter rates for over 4 week bookings will attract a significant discount.

By Jim Steele on 16-Jun-2025I have just returned from an 11 night stay in Villa Isobel, in Carvoeiro. The whole experience was magnificent. From the size and comfort of the property, the amenities, the fantastic pool, surrounding gardens and even a friendly Scottish neighbour. What more could you ask for? All the bedrooms are great with my two young grandchildren sharing one room, their parents adjacent and the old things (my wife and I) sharing the luxury of the upstairs master bedroom, en suite and sitting area and a rooftop terrace, leaving one room empty. The area is quiet and the views are tranquil. The pool is spacious. Not one of those ones where you take off and hit the other end. I was delighted by the level of service, from towel changes, bed linen changes and the pool cleaning, never mind the thoughtful welcome pack. Villa Isobel is a real home from home. But the whole package is a lot more than that. As soon as I got in touch with these people, you could sense that your holiday adventure was of paramount importance to their team. Nothing was too much trouble. Simple touches, like recommending quality restaurants for a special occasion, or car hire options. A personal thanks to Peter Evans and his team. The resort? Tons of great places to eat and drink. Friendly service. A family town. Kids loved the water parks, I loved the beach, although the sea temperature is a refined taste; you wouldn't go into a shower that cold. My wife and I went on a sightseeing trip to the caves, which were fantastic. Quirky tour guide, which was the icing on the cake. Eleven days wasn't enough. The time flew in. My wife's birthday is on the summer solstice, which is celebrated (the solstice, not my wife) with a local festival ("Black and White"). Marvellous atmosphere. Would I go back? At the drop of a hat. Once again, thanks from the Steele family for a wonderful vacation!

Easter family holiday
By Mary Rye on 16-Apr-2022We stayed in Casa Isobel with our adult children and their partners and had a lovely time. The villa is comfortable and was well equipped. It was clean and well maintained with an attentive management company. We paid for pool heating which we would recommend for the time of year. There is a 15/20 min walk to the beach which was fine for us. We hired a car, which while not essential, we would recommend.

The bedrooms are all an excellent size and well laid out, with downstairs bedrooms having direct access to the pool. The villa is in fantastic condition and was spotlessly clean on our arrival. The pool is bigger than you usually get in a rental villa and was well maintained during our stay. The villa had everything you could possibly need and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could want. Ideally situated for several supermarkets and a walk into town. Can't thank Peter enough for assisting us with everything during our stay, including getting the pool heating switched on almost immediately for the comfort of our children. Can't rate this villa and the support team highly enough. Excellent venue for a wonderful family holiday. Would not hesitate to return.
Wonderful villa

Huge villa , great location , wonderful surroundings and close to the main centre (10-15 min walk) , 9 of us - 4 adults 5 kids . Loads of space , every room had a balcony / terrace , great size living room and kitchen also with everything you need. Would definitely recommend for a family holiday with two families. Peter was amazing throughout and organised everything . Great air conditioners in the main rooms . Don’t hesitate. You won’t regret it .
What's not to love?!
By Steven Orme on 07-Apr-2019Just got back from a great holiday in Casa Isobel with another couple with children, it was lovely! The villa is great and in a fantastic location with lots of great activities nearby, beautiful beaches and not too far from the airport! The swimming pool is a really good size and heated on request (needed in April) The owner answered every question and responded very quickly. All in all, I couldn't recommend it enough and would happily return. If you're slightly unsure....forget your fear and book!
Absolutely wonderful
By Sue Dempsey on 11-Aug-2018We have been to Carvoiero many times but this was the first time, we’d stayed at Casa Isobel. We had 10 days here and we’re a mix of ages from 18 to 78 and i have to say it served every purpose for every single one of us fantastically, it’s safe to say it exceeded our expectations. There are four bedrooms, one being the master suite upstairs with its own wet room, lounge and large balcony. Three further ones downstairs, one en suite with a bath and the other between the two bedrooms (also with a bath) all were spotless and very spacious, with hangers in the wardrobes and a hair dryer in each room. There were extra pillows and duvets if you need them, however with the weather in the 90’s you don’t need them. All rooms had great air conditioning units and sliding patio doors to small private balconies. The lounge has a big flat screen tv with English channels and very comfy sofa’s, in the drawers there are books, games, dvd’s, sewing kits, playing cards, felt tips and things you just wouldn’t imagine to be in a holiday villa, it truly is a home from home. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with every imaginable utensil you need, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, double oven....I could go on and on. There is a washing line around the side of the villa and a big bag of pegs, an iron and ironing board, hoover etc. The pool is a really good size, there are roughly 10 beds, very comfy and beach towels are provided as well - bonus!! There are 3 umbrellas for shade and four outside tables with numerous chairs for outside dining. I would recommend pool heating, even though it was very warm, the pool was quite cool. From start to finish we had a fantastic holiday, Peter the host, and Kate and Oli, the management team are brilliant, and on hand whenever you need them. The pool was cleaned twice a week and the cleaners came twice a week as well. We loved Casa Isobel and can’t wait to come back.
