Description
Villa Santa Maria is located in the area known as Quinta do Paraiso and there are many extra facilities that can be used ie use of tennis courts, 3 main pools, Kiddiclub, restaurants, bars and mini supermarket. It is set in a mature area with lovely gardens. The villa will sleep a max of 6 adults (or mix of adults and children) plus one baby in a cot.The villa itself has 3 double bedrooms (2 of which are en suite) and a guest bathroom which also serves the third bedroom. There is a spacious lounge with comfortable seating and this leads to the dining room and then patio doors to the al fresco dining area on the patio. The modern kitchen is fitted with Bosch appliances and has a large American style double fridge with ice and drinking water dispenser. Through the kitchen there is a fully equipped utility room leading to a drying area in the small courtyard. The villa is also fitted with an active water softener.
The pool area has ample sun beds and parasols for guests and another seating area with table and chairs if required. with dimensions of 10 x 5 metres the pool has gentle entry steps from the shallow Roman end with a depth of approx 0.8 metres to a maximum of 2.10 metres at the deep end and pool heating is available on request (extra charge) The beautiful gardens are meticulously maintained and the mature plants give privacy all around the villa. There are lawns and a large BBQ area with refrigerator and water.To the front of the villa stairs lead to the roof terrace where there are further sun beds and fantastic 360º views towards the coastline and surrounding area.
The villa is air conditioned and for winter use there is a log burner in the lounge. There is a flat screen tv with UK channels plus a dvd player. Free wi-fi internet is also provided.
It is fully licensed under the Alojamento Local (AL) scheme, registration no 4691/AL

A wonderful villa
By Abbie Scott on 02-Jul-2022We are just back from the most wonderful weeks stay at Villa Santa Maria, it is a real home from home equipped with everything you need. Communication from the beginning until the end is second to none, nothing seemed too much trouble for Peter. Anabella, the house manager was also fabulous and welcoming even coming half way though our stay to freshen up the villa. The villa is perfectly located with a local shop a short walk away and also two fabulous restaurants a stones throw away. The villa also feels completely private despite having neighbours. We have already recommended this villa to friends and will be sure to be returning ourselves.
A perfect break
By David Tonge on 11-Jun-2022We found the Santa Maria Villa on the Quinta do Paraiso resort to be the best Villa we have ever stayed in, a real home from home. Very spacious and the pool was much larger than we expected, photos didn't do the Villa justice. Carvoeiro was a lovely village and very friendly with plenty of bars and restaurants. Arrangements made through Peter Evans worked like clockwork and on site contact Anabela was brilliant offering suggestions of places to visit etc, very helpful and approachable lady. We found the walk into Carvoerio took 20/25 mins, but a pleasant walk so not hardship.
Fabulous

We booked for 2020 along with several other holidaymakers who had to postpone but eventually the trip happened and was well worth waiting for. The pool heating was wonderful, definitely worth it in the early months of the year. House has everything you could possibly need and Anabela, the manager, is so lovely and helpful and friendly and informative. We will visit again. Lynn and Graham
