Having just returned from a week at Le Roque we are all struggling to cope with being back to reality!! Based on the photos alone our group of two families were both very much looking forward to our trip but what the photos fail to properly convey is the sheer scale of the property - it really is huge. I can't recall the last time I really needed the guided tour of a rental property - I sometimes felt like asking google maps for the quickest route to the pool. The property is fully loaded with everything you could think of - my usual complaint of insufficient crockery/cutlery/towels etc was never going to be aired here with a large and properly equipped kitchen. Throw in the couple of large TV spaces, the pool table, table tennis table and large heated pool and the fact that the weather wasn't as good as we might have hoped for was never an issue, particularly for the kids. Throw in the lovely restaurants within walking distance (Julias & Alfanzina were fantastic though I'd give the Lighthouse a miss) and everything really was catered for. An absolute gem, I really do look forward to my next stay at Le Roque which will hopefully be sooner rather than later. Date of stay: April 2019
We have just returned back from the most amazing stay for my friends 40th birthday. 5 stars does not do the villa justice. It is high end luxury with special touches that make the stay feel really personal. Sam the owner was so helpful and put us in touch with a chef to come in and cook, Mario who was at hand to help out and transfers from the airport and she even organised a cake for the birthday girl, which was delicious. We literally could not fault anything about it and feel that now any trip will be very poor in comparison. Thanks again for such a memorable weekend which will be extremely hard to beat.
Sam, I wanted to say an absolutely massive thank you, firstly for having such an utterly amazing villa, which was out of this world, secondly for all your help in the run up to our trip and thirdly for the wine, the AMAZING cake and all the little extras you left for us to enjoy. It was without a doubt the most special place each and every one of us have ever visited. We loved all the seating areas, the roof top terrace, the views, the sun loungers, pool, music system... absolutely everything! The villa was absolutely spotless on arrival, and the attention to detail with decor, fixtures and fittings was just beautiful. You really have a great flair for interior design. We used a pizzeria called Mona Lisa, who came in to cook us authentic pizzas one night, and At De Bruin who you recommended was the icing on the cake, the BBQ was the best we have ever had, and they were so professional, and the food was super! We felt like we were rich and famous having such a treat. Mario was fantastic, so friendly, and explained everything swiftly yet was so informative. He contacted me during our stay to check everything was ok, which was so nice. We are already planning our next trip to come back to Le Roque, as to be honest I don’t think we will ever find anywhere as fabulous! Date of stay: June 2019
