Recent stay at villa Casa Dos Pomares
5 out of 5
We have just spent a lovely, enjoyable and relaxing week at the villa.
Everybody who stayed at the villa, felt the photos on the website do not do the villa justice.
The views from the garden over to the lagoon and castle are spectacular, especially with the early morning mist, which made it look very eerie.
Obidos was very popular, three of the party attempted to walk the castle walls , but gave up on health and safety grounds.
We spent a great day sightseeing in Lisbon, great fun was had by all being driven by tuktuk around the sites.Trying to get back to the bus station in the evening via taxi was slightly difficult , as there was a football match on at the stadium.
O Tracadinho is certainly a gem, very friendly and the food well presented- we went there twice in a week and even came away with two jars of their chutney..We certainly will return to the area again
