Only 10 minutes from the charming coastal town and marina of Vila Real de Santo Antonio or the golden sands of Praia Verde with miles of unspoilt coastline. The Eastern Algarve is still rustic, quiet & authentically Portuguese, but has fantastic beaches, beautiful countryside and so many good restaurants.

35 minute drive from Faro Airport, Castro Marim Golf & Country Club is a unique location in the tranquil Eastern Algarve. A small development of 50 villas, surrounded by a magnificent 27 hole golf course and nature reserve.

Jillsvilla is in a prime spot, just 200 yards from the stunning new clubhouse, driving range, chipping green and practice putting greens. The patio and pool are south facing, enjoying front line views over the 10th fairway.
We bought and furnished our pride & joy in Castro Marim G&CC for our own retirement. We chose Jillsvilla because it is on flat level ground which looked safer for children and had a full size pool and a larger patio. It was just a shell of concrete at the time which worked out great because we were able to choose really good quality kitchen & bathroom furniture and add the little extras that make all the difference. Jill is an artist and her flair for interior design gives the villa a stylish feel for all. I'm sure you will enjoy it.
Should you decide to stay at Jillsvilla, we will send you a full pack of information about the local area - best restaurants, things to do, local golf courses, nearest beaches, sightseeing ideas, other sports facilities, taxis, car hire advice, etc.

We also have 2 sets of golf clubs and practice balls, plus loads of lilos and children's beach stuff which our guests are very welcome to borrow. There's even a couple of umbrellas and some ponchos in case the dreaded rain arrives. For the children, there's a cot/play pen with pillow and bedding, changing mat, a high chair, fold up buggy and a beach tent. Beach towels are also provided. Plus a good selection of books, card & board games & children's toys.

We prefer to rent to non-smokers and adults or small families to maintain quality and a peaceful atmosphere.
In addition to the central AC in all rooms, we supply an electric fan for each bedroom. For winter guests, there is a 10kw wood burning fire, plus an oil filled radiator in the lounge.

As a duty of care for our guests, we have smoke alarms, fire blanket, 3 fire extinguishers and a medical kit. As required by Portuguese law, Jillsvilla has been granted a Rental Licence by the Ministry of Tourism - reg no 7005/AL, plus an energy certificate Class C ref SCE95367939.

The 8m x 4m private pool is cleaned 3 times a week and has a spacious terrace overlooking the 10th fairway. The south facing patio is equipped with a shower, Beefeater gas BBQ, 6 sun loungers, a large electric awning and 4 sun umbrellas. The round rattan effect dining table has 6 padded chairs.

In 2020 we added a new luxurious "chill out area" at the golf course end of the patio, complete with sofas, pergola and water feature. Ideal for your first coffee of the day, or your last beer.

The large kitchen is fully equipped with fan oven, electric hob, microwave, toaster, American fridge freezer with icemaker, slow cooker, food processor, coffee maker, plate warmer, etc. The utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer and steam iron/ironing table.
All linen and towels, plus 6 beach towels, are provided.

All bedrooms are ensuite and offer total privacy. There is a hairdryer, alarm clock, fan and spare pillows in each bedroom.

Cancellation Policy: The 25% booking deposit and 75% final payment, due 8 weeks before your holiday, are non refundable if you cancel your booking. However we always try to help in such circumstances and will offer a full refund if we are able to rent Jillsvilla to another guest. Alternatively we will offer you a full credit on a later booking, subject to availability and applicable pricing.
We also advise taking out comprehensive travel insurance to cover your flight and villa rental costs.
