Description
The Quinta is a spacious 2 bedroom villa set within a large garden with private swimming pool, situated in a rural area between the city of Silves, and the market town of Sao Bartolomeu de Messines in the central Algarve. The private grounds offer guests their privacy, peace and relaxation, as well as stunning views to the coast from its elevated position in the foothills. The perfect place to enjoy tranquility, but with all amenities just a short drive away.The villa is furnished to a high standard, including elegant antique furniture. It has a home from home feel, with the high ceilings and traditional terracotta floors of a traditional Algarvean farmhouse.
The lounge is spacious and dual aspect, with large windows and doors to the covered terrace, pool and garden. There are 2 large comfy sofas and an arm chair, TV
and DVD player, plus a beautiful open fireplace.
The kitchen is a well equipped, traditional Portuguese style kitchen with oven, hob, fridge and toaster. There is an adjoining 'snug' area with log burner and doors to a fabulous conservatory, offering a relaxing place to enjoy the Algarve climate throughout the year.
The bedrooms are spacious and light, both with double beds. The main bedroom benefits from an ensuite bathroom, There is also a family bathroom.
Outside, there is a wonderful covered terrace area, perfect for BBQ's and alfesco dining. The garden is completely secluded.
There are shallow steps leading to the pool area, which is surrounded by a terrace with sun loungers. The pool and garden offers amazing views to the south, across the Algarve countryside to the coast.
Located only 40 minutes from Faro airport the villa is an ideal base from which to explore all the Algarve - 20 minutes to the coast, 10 minutes to golf, 25 minutes and the famous Algarve shopping with its designer shops, cinema, food court and huge supermarket .
Right on the villa's doorstep are the rolling countryside with its fantastic views and walks. Perfect for family or friends to spend time together and enjoy Portugal.
Car hire is recommended. For those not wishing to drive, we can arrange transfers from Faro airport to the accommodation.
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service - There is a twice weekly maid service. Linen and bath towels are included in rental costs. Bed linen is changed once a week and towels are changed twice a week when the apartment is cleaned.
Our friendly English and Portuguese speaking staff are on hand to assist you when necessary and recommend places to visit.
As a small family business we look after a few properties in the area. We live locally, and know the area extremely well. We will provide you with detailed directions to the property before your arrival. We can provide you with local information and organise taxi or/and a car hire. We look after our guests and make sure that everything is in order in the property.
A cot is provided, a high chair can also be provided by prior arrangement for a small charge.
We provide a maid service twice a week in summer and once a week in winter , this is included in the rental cost.
Our mobile phone number is available 24 hours a day during your stay for emergency calls.
Check in time is 3pm. Check out time is 10am.
A 25% or £300 / 300€ (whichever is greater) deposit is required at time of booking. The final balance plus a returnable breakage deposit of £500 / 500€ is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival.

*All bookings between 01 November and 31 March are subject to an additional charge for electricity, payable monthly, charged at 0.25 cents for each unit of electricity used.
Payment accepted by bank transfer in Sterling or Euros.
Payment can also be accepted via Paypal, but the guest pays the additional Paypal fee.
Please note, after booking the property you will be required to complete and return booking forms and a standard terms of rental agreement. This is to protect you, the guest, as well as the property owner. You will also be required to provide passport information in advance of arrival, this is a legal requirement in Portugal.

Lovely countryside villa

Dream week at The Quinta

The house has everything you need to stay there, but if you want to go out, you have the best beaches in Portugal 20 minutes away and a city 5 minutes away where you can find all kinds of shops. I would repeat without hesitation.

By John & Julie on 01-Oct-2024We loved the tranquility of the villa. But you’re close enough to everything that Algarve has to offer if you need it. Good town very close by containing all the shopping you would ever need. Fab and clean pool/patio area to catch the sun. Great outside bbq kitchen and the house has home from home furnishings too. We didn’t need for anything. Will be back and would recommend it to anyone. We had a wonderful visit. Thank you.
