Reviewed 15 August 2017 We have just returned from a fabulous two week holiday at Porto Fiskardo Apartments. We travelled as a family of four (two teenage children) and found the whole experience at Porto Fiskardo excellent. From the moment we made our first tentative enquiries via email, when Georgia and her team could not have been more helpful with pictures of the apartment and advice on possible activities during our holiday we knew we had picked the right place to stay. If our pre-holiday experience was good, then that was matched by our in holiday experience - right from the moment we arrived when Maria and Yanis were there to greet us as we stepped out of our taxi from the airport (which they had kindly arranged for us). We were soon sitting by the pool enjoying a welcome drink! The apartments are spotlessly clean and kept so during our two week stay by regular cleaning and bed linen changes twice per week. The pool area became a regular place to sit and relax, enjoying a drink (coffee or alcoholic), toasted sandwiches (which are great) or an Ice cream. There are plenty of loungers around the pool and a whole day can be whiled away without any effort at all!! Fiskardo itself is a lovely resort with lots of great restaurants, shopping and of course lots and lots of boats. On the days we were not sitting by the pool we rented a sailing boat for the day (Salty Blue - which was a great experience), rented a small motor boat for the day - to explore the many quiet and stunning coves within striking distance of Fiskardo. If you are feeling slightly more energetic we would highly recommended renting kayaks from the excellent Fiskardo Kayaks - only 100 metres from Porto Fiskardo Apartments - a wonderful excursion. The final comment must be reserved for the team at the apartments - Georgia, Maria, Yanis (a daemon darts player) and the rest of the team, who could not have been more friendly, helpful and good fun to be with. Reviewed 18 August 2017 We stayed at Porto Fiskardo this time last year, with yet another fantastic stay. The views are fabulous, the staff (Maria and Yanis) remain exceptionally friendly and helpful and this time we met the equally delightful owner, Georgia. This really is a very nice place to stay, with the location, quality of environment and service all to a very high standard. Being in the apartment service industry myself, I can appreciate the efforts they go to, which always comes with an honest smile and dedication to their job. Reviewed 31 August 2017 It was our first time in Fiscardo and after looking at the reviews online I booked the Porto Fiscardo apartments and we were not disappointed. The location is perfect - 5 minutes walk to the port where you have lovely restaurants and bars to choose from - 15 minutes walk to Fogi beach which is lovely. We also hired a car to explore the island which is definitely worth doing. The highlight of our trip was the apartment and the service provided. Georgia was always very prompt with any queries I had before our arrival and full of recommendations of things to do in the area and places to eat. Maria, Yanis and Anna were delightful and nothing was too much trouble for them - always smiling! The people we met around the pool were all lovely and most of them were returning guests!
