Located 1 hour 15 minutes from Ancona Airport (Ryanair) , 2.5 hours from Bologna Airport (Ryanair and Easyjet) and 40 minutes from the Blue Flag beaches of beautiful, lively and historic Fano. Casa Rosa is an ideal retreat for up to 5-6 guests.

RENTAL DETAILS:
Weekly rates: £950–£1200 (Spring/Autumn), £1475 (High Season).
No additional charges. Gas, water and electricity are included. Also all laundry + cleaning before and after your stay.
Maximum 5-6 guests. Saturday-to-Saturday bookings only.
HOUSE RULES:
No smoking indoors.
No smoking outdoors on grassy areas , May - September inclusive -- it is illegal under Italian law.
Very, very sorry, no pets allowed.

By Matthew Waldren on 09-Aug-2025We had a really wonderful stay at Casa Rosa, and are looking forward to returning before too long. The setting of the house was, for us, perfect: It is a simple rural retreat - away from crowds - without any pretensions and suited our love of nature. The view from the terrace and pool is spectacular and we didn’t ever tire of looking at it - from breakfast through to sunsets and then shooting stars. We were lucky to see deer, a herd of wild boar, eagles and even the resident baby owl (though we also had a hilarious time trying to get rid of the giant centipede - sorry about your dustpan, Sheila!). There are so many board games to play in the evenings, and we enjoyed playing table tennis after a BBQ. Sheila and Mike are great hosts, and obviously love Casa Rosa very much. They gave us great tips of places to visit, and we started our holiday in Fano on their recommendation - a place which we very much enjoyed.
Amazing views and a peaceful, comfortable house
By Betul on 16-Aug-2025Casa Rosa is a very comfortable house to stay in with amazing views and a lovely pool. It is in a private location but only a 10 minute drive to the nearest village. The house is very well equipped and the whole property was clean, well maintained and well presented. There was good communication with Mike and Sheila about the property, and how to get there, before our stay. Highly recommended.
Nice lovely quiet retreat
By Paul & Christine on 19-Jul-2025Thank you, Mike and Sheila, for having us at your lovely quiet place. A nice clean house, a fantastic well-kept pool and super views over the Marche landscape. We enjoyed every minute of our summer holiday: breakfast at the terrace overlooking the valley, a walk in the neighborhood over the strada bianca type roads, trips to Fossombrone, Urbino, Pesaro, Fano, Ancona, San Marino, Ravenna, Gradara, Assisi,..., a nice dinner in the surrounding restaurants. What more could one ask for????
A wonderful and tranquil holiday
By Jimmy on 05-Jul-2025All we wanted was peace and quiet. We certainly got this at Casa Rosa. So, so peaceful and the views are simply spectacular. It's an older, cosy place which is exactly what we wanted. It has a super pool with very nice sun beds to relax the day away. Did I mention the views? 😂. We Have booked the same two weeks for next year so we can show our other friends what they missed this year. Mike and Sheila were always at the end of a text should we need them. Excellent hosts. Can't wait to return! Alla prossima!
What’s not to love at Casa Rosa?
By Linda Bird on 25-May-2024We had a wonderful holiday at Casa Rosa. The views from the terrace were amazing and we saw some spectacular sunsets. We had great fun in the pool and enjoyed the table tennis. In fact, although we did head to the beach one day, we didn’t see many of the local sights as we were having such a good time at the farmhouse itself that nobody really wanted to! The owners of Casa Rosa were friendly and helpful and quickly got back to us when we contacted them about something during our stay. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. And they clearly have an eye to detail with the way they have set the farmhouse up even thinking to include motion activated nightlights so you could see your way out of the bedroom at night without waking anyone else up – or bumping into the splendid four-poster bed! We all felt refreshed and restored after our holiday – it’s such a peaceful place and it really feels like you have stepped off the treadmill of daily life while you are there. The only problem? You will want to go back! (We are already planning our next visit 😊)
Wonderful memory

The owners were very friendly in their communications (we actually spoke on the phone, not just by email). They had plenty of suggestions for places to visit and places to eat (as this was our first time visiting that particular part of Italy). Even though there was an unexpected heat wave, we still had a lovely time. The pool was cool and refreshing and the gardener came regularly to check it and maintain it. The peaceful surroundings were just what we were looking for. Everything was as described, the owners are very thorough with providing every possible detail anyone might require. We look forward to another visit and stay at the property in the near future as we feel there is still so much we would like to see, do and experience in that part of Italy. Thank you Sheila and Mike for sharing your holiday home with us.
