About Your Hosts
Nick (UK) and Manou (France/NY) fell in love with Frigiliana and made La Quinta their home in 2018. Passionate about art, nature, travel, and creating a relaxed welcoming environment, they enjoy meeting new people and many guests return year after year. Nick is a ceramicist with a small studio on the property, and Manou is a nature and underwater photography enthusiast. They live on-site, are avid gardeners, friendly, discreet, with deep local knowledge, and are always available if needed.

Perfect relaxing stay with stunning views

From booking to throughout our stay the communication from Nick and Manou was fantastic, they gave us really clear directions to the property, met us on arrival for a tour and were available throughout on whatsapp for lots of helpful recommendations and information. They could not have been more welcoming. The property was equipped with everything we could possibly have needed or wanted. The wine in the fridge on arrival and the cool box for the beach were particularly appreciated! The property was cool, spacious and spotlessly clean. We had complete privacy and so much outside space with beautiful views from the terrace and the pool. The journey from Malaga airport was very straightforward and the property was easy to find despite being away from the town. It was so peaceful and idyllic with Frigiliana being a 10 minute drive and the beaches/town of Nerja 20 minutes away. Frigiliana itself is so beautiful with so many excellent restaurants. We would absolutely love to return and would recommend La Quinta highly to other couples/friends wishing for a relaxing and peaceful holiday spot.
Five star villa with an added personal touch

It's the sort of place you've always fantasised about staying in - a stylish, sun-baked villa on the side of a mountain leading to a shady plunge pool flanked with lime and olive trees. Sounds to good to be true, right? But it's not! Owners Nick and Manu have clearly gone the extra mile to make La Quinta feel really special. The interior is decorated straight from the pages of Ideal Home and stocked with everything you might need to cook a gourmet five-course meal. And the local area has some excellent restaurants tucked away (ask Nick for help finding them), as well as beautiful Frigliana itself for views, bars and fine dining. We travelled with our 6-month-old baby and our hosts pulled out all the stops to make sure we had everything we needed, from cots and high chairs to milk, eggs and cava. They are a great couple who won't intrude on your holiday but will make sure you have the best time suited to your tastes. We'll definitely be going back.
Exceptional Property

We have stayed in many places in Europe and North America, and this was the best experience we've had. The accommodation and hillside location with spectacular Mediterranean views make it hard to beat. They have put a lot of thought into the details to ensure it feels like home. The hosts greeted us on arrival and made us feel so welcomed throughout our stay. They answered all our questions and provided great recommendations for sites to see, restaurants, parking etc. They hosted us for dinner one evening and that was one of the most memorable experiences on our trip. We cannot recommend this property and these warm exceptional hosts enough.

The View was so stunning, no matter where you were in the House or on the terraces, the Kitchen was cosy and very Well equipped:) It’s impossible not to have a great and Relaxing time here:) We can only recommend this lovely place and the hosts - and already long to go back:)

Nick and Manu were available to help with everything possible and made sure we had both chair and crib for our small daughter. Highly recommend booking this place both for the location, the place and the wonderful hosts.

Their communication from the start was great and we were made to feel very welcome. The accommodation is very comfortable and everything is of top quality. We would wake up to the stunning view everyday and think of how fortunate we are to enjoy such lovely surroundings and weather. (Yes even the weather in February and early March was great) The area has wonderful beaches, restaurants, hilltop towns, and Spanish cultural sites to explore. We had a great three weeks vacation, due in no small part to the lovely accommodation.
