About Your Hosts
Nick (UK) and Manou (France/NY) fell in love with Frigiliana and made La Quinta their home in 2018. Passionate about art, nature, travel, and creating a relaxed welcoming environment, they enjoy meeting new people and many guests return year after year. Nick is a ceramicist with a small studio on the property, and Manou is a nature and underwater photography enthusiast. They live on-site, are avid gardeners, friendly, discreet, with deep local knowledge, and are always available if needed.

By Jean W. on 03-May-2026We had a lovely stay. Wonderful peaceful setting but only a short drive to Frigiliana. Nick and Manou were fantastic hosts who couldn't have been more accommodating. We were really appreciative of their offer to buy us groceries due to us arriving on a Sunday. The villa spotless and well equipped. We will be sure to recommend to others!

By Regine S. on 29-May-2026A fantastic place to stay with everything you need and more. Salt, pepper, spices – everything you need to get started without having to buy large quantities separately. Everything was fresh and not leftovers from the last three years. Simply wonderful service! As a welcome gesture, there was wine, bread, and cheese, as well as a small starter kit for the first day. A spacious accommodation with many nooks and crannies, and incredibly cozy. The view: breathtaking! The entire property is very well-maintained! Frigiliana is only about 2 km away and well worth a visit, especially in the evening when the "tourists" ;-) have already left. There's something new to see in every alleyway; you can sit for a few minutes with a beer or wine, or shop in small boutiques that don't just offer the usual trinkets, but also local products and specialties. And last but not least, the hosts: those who want to can cultivate closer relationships, while those who simply want to relax can enjoy peace and quiet. Emanuelle and Nick were the best hosts you could wish for! We would like to sincerely thank both of them for a wonderful end to our stay in Andalusia!

We did not have transport but walked several times to the lovely village of Frigilliana (about 45mins strolling). At Frigilliana the local bus took us to the coast of Nerja. We also walked in the hills. The villa was amazing, very attractive, spacious, comfortable, tidy and clean. Our hosts Emmanuelle and Nick were superb, kind, helpful and generous. Communication was excellent at all times. We would definitely return if we had the opportunity. Thank you both. Cathy and Chris

The view from the terrace is stunning, and the house is beautifully furnished and well equipped with everything we could have wished for. Beautiful hiking trails in the immediate vicinity.

Our luggage was lost by the airline, Manou went above and beyond to help us, we are so grateful. Property and views are beautiful, village and restaurants are a short drive away. Perfect relaxing stay with stunning views

From booking to throughout our stay the communication from Nick and Manou was fantastic, they gave us really clear directions to the property, met us on arrival for a tour and were available throughout on whatsapp for lots of helpful recommendations and information. They could not have been more welcoming. The property was equipped with everything we could possibly have needed or wanted. The wine in the fridge on arrival and the cool box for the beach were particularly appreciated! The property was cool, spacious and spotlessly clean. We had complete privacy and so much outside space with beautiful views from the terrace and the pool. The journey from Malaga airport was very straightforward and the property was easy to find despite being away from the town. It was so peaceful and idyllic with Frigiliana being a 10 minute drive and the beaches/town of Nerja 20 minutes away. Frigiliana itself is so beautiful with so many excellent restaurants. We would absolutely love to return and would recommend La Quinta highly to other couples/friends wishing for a relaxing and peaceful holiday spot.
