Quinta Bonita Country House & Gardens is a beautiful luxury estate available for hire as a self-catering private villa for friends and families. Once a traditional Portuguese farmhouse, the villa has been sensitively restored to a luxurious state whilst still maintaining the feel of a family home. There are 8 spacious bedrooms and a 2 bed-roomed cottage, each individually designed and beautifully decorated with their own private terrace or balcony, air-conditioning and ensuite bathroom. The house has a large sunny lounge with log fire for the cooler months, dining area with tiled breakfast counter, modern kitchen and outdoor lounge, dining and BBQ area. The property is set in 10,000 m2 of tranquil gardens which include large outdoor swimming pool, large dining terraces, sloping and flat lawns, waterfalls, orchard, formal Italian garden with outdoor Chess set and table tennis, dry garden with day bed and a stunning Azulejos (Portuguese tiled) glass fronted yoga studio and adjacent terrace. Badminton, football, croquet and petanque to keep little ones entertained. Full catering service and daily housekeeping is available. Rental includes personal check-in by house manager and housekeeping three times per week. The Quinta is ideally located 4km from Praia da Luz and the historic town of Lagos. With many fantastic golf courses, restaurants and beaches in the area, the wild and undiscovered West Coast is also just a half hour drive.Bedroom Details

By Eric on 06-Jul-2023If there were 6 stars…. Quinta Bonita balances the feeling of a well appointed home with that of a small boutique hotel. The gardens are magical; the house flows expansively from one space to another; each room js perfect. And of course the surroundings are amazing. But what sets it apart are the hosts and staff: warm, professional, helpful. We will return, in our dreams if not again in reality.
Extraordinary Property
By Alice on 23-Nov-2022Staying at this extraordinary property was truly the highlight of our family''s one week vacation in Portugal. Our family of 6 (which includes 4 children who are older teens/young adults) spent 3 nights here at the beginning of our week in Portugal. We all absolutely loved the villa and the grounds. We enjoyed an incredible breakfast each morning lovingly prepared by the house manager, Tania, who generously helped us secure dinner reservations and guided us on other aspects of our trip. The house itself is beautiful -- incredibly spacious rooms each with its own bath and terrace. The family room is cozy and comfortable, and we enjoyed a fire each night. The porches/terraces have comfortable sofas that make it difficult to ever leave! And the gardens are delightful. After breakfast each day, we would walk around the grounds and discovered something new every day. The house was also immaculately clean. This is the most unique, memorable, beautiful property we have ever rented!
Beautiful & Spacious Quinta

We were three generations and there was something for everyone to enjoy in the beautiful gardens and at the close by beaches. Chantelle is a wonderful host whose recommendations for restaurants and outings were spot on. Highly recommend!
