Beautifully located in a peaceful olive grove and surrounded by mature gardens, Villa Oliva is a lovely 4 bedroomed villa with a lovely private swimming pool. Consisting of a living room, dining room, spacious kitchen area, and 4 bedrooms there is plenty of room to relax in comfort.

Externally, the large garden, surrounded by olive groves lends itself to outdoor living, with shaded areas outside the house for al fresco dining or relaxing whilst taking in the sumptuous view.

The house is just below the tiny village of Campo, and a few minutes drive from the small town of Gallicano. The ancient and beautiful festival town of Barga can be seen from the house, and it's only a few kilometres drive from the market town of Castelnuovo. The classic "art" city of Lucca is an easy drive, as is Pisa and Florence.

Garfagnana is 'Hidden Tuscany' at its best. With its' stunning scenery it is the best area in Tuscany for walking and outdoor activities. Friends of Tuscany are the oldest agency in the area, and we have close ties with an Outdoor Activities company who offer many international class adventures. We can also offer Art classes with a well known artist, excursions to the Cinque Terre, Florence and Lucca, visits to vineyards, historical guided tours and Italian cooking lessons.

Great view, great hospitality

We (four adults and four children (4-8 years)) spent a very relaxing holiday in the house. It is comfortably furnished in Tuscan style. The kitchen is fully equipped. The pictures and the ratings/descriptions already given are absolutely correct - only the view in the direction of Barga is even more beautiful. We would particularly like to emphasize the hospitality of the homeowners. Cristina and Mauro supported us with advice and action from planning trips to car repairs. Really wonderful!

We spent a wonderful and relaxing holiday in Villa Oliva and felt very comfortable. We lacked nothing. The landlady gave us a friendly welcome and provided us with important information.
