Hamlet 1 by Jules
"The 5 Hamlet starlets are all part of an impressive complex in Ghasri.
From the moment you arrive, Hamlet 1 puts a smile on your face. The lovely stone interior combines rustic character with modern stylish furnishings. Rooms are bright and inviting. There’s a gym and sauna too, shared with the other Hamlet farmhouses.
Best of all each Hamlet has been designed to be year-round Gozo holiday home accommodation. So in addition to the welcoming pool and terrace that makes the most of every Gozitan summer, you’ll find a log fire and underfloor heating for Gozo’s milder winter days.
With wonderful views of the valley and countryside from the tranquil private patio, you’ll find Hamlet 1 the perfect place to relax and unwind. And relaxing gets even easier when you realise just how much home you get for your money. It’s quality you’d find hard to beat for the same price anywhere else on Gozo" - JUles.
Step through the front door and you’re instantly into a welcoming living area of stone wooden beams and glass doors.
The large lounge area has all the attractions you’d expect including a flat screen TV Cable Wi-Fi DVD and PlayStation. Facing the living area glass doors lead outside to the private terrace with pool.
The kitchen is well equipped for the most adventurous holiday cook with the dining area adjacent.
Climb the stone staircase to reach all three of Hamlet 1’s bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is the master bedroom and features a double bed en-suite bathroom and flat screen television.
Bedrooms 2 and 3 have twin beds and an en-suite shower room.
LOCATION: Ghasri Village
If you take the Victoria-Gharb road to the Aqueduct and fork right you will find the smallest village on the island nestled between the hills of iz-Zebbug and Ghammar.
The village of Ghasri sits amongst the fields and valleys of rural Gozo near to Victoria’s commanding Citadel and close to one of the best swimming spots on the island. Worthy of a stop is Tal Gordan a flat topped hill with an iconic lighthouse. At 180 metres above sea level the Lighthouse towers over the village and stands proudly on top of Gurdan Hill. Inaugurated in 1853 the Lighthouse’ beam could be seen as far as 50 kilometres away so affords a fantastic 360 degree view when you get there. It’s a must for ramblers.
The nearest supermarket is 800 metres away with the many shops located in Victoria, 3 KM from the farmhouse. You will find a number of restaurants and bars in 900 metres.
