“From the hall and up a few stone steps, I meet a bright picture of countryside and sparkles of water reflecting through the terrace doors from the private pool. My first impression was a big one. A bold statement created by five large limestone archways spanning the length of the high ceiling, add stature to a large welcoming living space. The clever combination of glass and arches throughout define its open nature and underline its space.

A sweeping stone staircase leading to a landing and 3 bedrooms are a charming feature. The glass staircase banisters and paintings displayed on a backdrop of white walls gave me the feeling I was in a modern art gallery. Made even livelier by skylight windows.

PROPERTY DETAILS

Ground floor:

Contemporary furnishings add to the elegance of local limestone in an open plan lounge and dining area. The living space feels particularly roomy given the arched terrace doors and windows that extend the length of Four Winds and lead to the pool terrace.

A well-presented and equipped kitchen is found under an arch to the rear of the lounge. A small breakfast bar with stools give you an option to keep the cook company.

A WC and laundry room is also located on the ground floor. Very handy for the pool.

First floor:

Follow the wide staircase to a bright and welcoming landing where you find Bedroom 1, to the left. This has a double bed and one single bed. Continue up a few stone steps in the atrium and you will find the family bathroom with a corner bath and shower. And of course, plenty of space!

Proceeding to the top of the stairs you will arrive at Bedrooms 2 and 3.

Bedroom 2 has twin beds and use of the family bathroom.

Bedroom 3 is a generous-sized master bedroom with more than ample space for one double and one single bed. This bedroom also has a flat-screen TV and a balcony overlooking the pool. And with it, you have miles of picturesque countryside views.

The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom.

Outside:

The welcoming outdoor pool is in a harmonious countryside setting. A long L shaped terrace surrounds the pool with loungers, a patio dining set and stone built BBQ.

Additional information:

Four Winds has pay as you go air-conditioning – so you’ll stay cool on muggy evenings. The is also a garage under the farmhouse for private use.
