Leave ReviewFantastic view, perfect pool. Great villa experience
By Tim McKeown on 20-Sep-2025Villa Avouri has everything you need for a relaxing stay in Rhodes. Based on the southern side of the island and just outside Lindos, Kalathos is far enough away from the crowds but a quick walk to the main road or drive and there are plenty of Tavernas and bars. The pool at the villa is bright and sparking and very well maintained , much needed when it’s hot. We spent most of our time outside sitting under the bougainvilleas in pink and orange having a drink or frappe (the villa has a frappe maker) looking over at the never ending sea view out to Haraki. The villa itself has a main bedroom and second bedroom with twin beds which are clean and no fuss. The kitchen, dining and living room is perfect for just us two but would easily suit a family or friends sharing. We stayed for 2 weeks and didn’t want to leave. There is a BBQ which we didn’t end up using but wish we had. The kitchen is well equipped which helped for self catering and the washing machine is a huge bonus. It felt like we were the only people there even though there are other villas on the mountain. It’s incredibly private and you get the sun all day. If you plan on just reading books and laying in the sun you couldn’t ask for a better spot. We loved driving around the island by day and then relaxing with the sun going down at the villa. We will be back next year as we really did feel like this was a home away from home for us!
Amazing villa with wonderful views and pool

Beautiful views which was the highlight of the holiday and a stunning pool. The grounds were lovely too. A very private villa and quiet. Jenny was a brilliant host and so helpful for anything we needed. Thank you! Wonderful weather too 30+ degrees.
A fantastic villa with great views and a brilliant pool.
By Joanna York on 19-Jul-2025Villa Avouri was everything we hoped and wanted and more. The villa was spotless and the perfect place to spend a holiday. The pool was amazing and with 40 degree temperatures at times it was the ideal place to spend our time. The location of the villa is just idyllic with views of the sea and so much space around you. Yet it is not too far from restaurants, the supermarket and the sea. We hired a car and this is really necessary. Communication with Jenny was excellent throughout. We cannot recommend this villa enough and really hope to go back.
Absolutely fantastic time in Rhodes!

It was away from the main road in a peaceful area with the most incredible views of the mountains behind and the beach and sea in front. The villa lacked nothing- it was immaculately clean and very comfortable with all we could have needed and its own pristine pool, overlooking the sea. It was perfect! The owner had provided plenty of suggestions for days out ( don’t miss Rhodes Old Town,, Lindos and Fulton’s Monastery) and local beaches which were beautiful! She sent us to some very special restaurants to eat (definitely try some of the suggestions) . We hired a car through a company that the owner uses, but could have coped with the regular buses etc .The only dilemma each day, was whether to go out and visit new areas of Rhodes or stay and relax in the luxury of the villa!!! Will definitely be returning there!
Greek Paradise
By Sarah ,Alison and kids on 06-Aug-2024The villa is situated up a steep hill and the breeze is very welcoming. The house and gardens are kept to an excellent standard . Inside is cool and spacious with a gorgeous view over the pool, gardens and ocean and a lovely ornate staircase takes you to the very comfortable bedrooms. We received an amazing welcome package from Jenny the owner, who was very helpful and responsive, if we needed any advice. A car is a must to visit the local area. All in all, the villa was fantastic and the view was idyllic and 'to die for'. A wonderful stay in a beautiful place.
Stunning views, great location
By Helen B on 25-May-2024We loved our week in Villa Avouri, it’s a beautiful home from home with well equipped kitchen. The views are stunning and pool was lovely. Lindos is a 5 min car ride away and Kalathos has good local eateries and provisions. Jenny is a fantastic host with great communication and recommendations. I hope we will return one day!
