Description

King Side Villa is a brand new property, finished in 2019 in the rural village of Vassilopoulata. The elevated position enables fantastic panoramic views over the virgin valley of Pylaros, the blue Ionian Sea and the surrounding mountains.
The villa is finished and furnished to a very high quality level, combining elegant, contemporary design with desirable modern amenities of highest standard. Here is the perfect place to relax, enjoy tranquility and peace.

The living space of approx. 80 sqm is arranged over 2 floors and comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a spacious living/dining area with a tasteful decorated open plan kitchen. Due to the architectural design of the house and its surrounding landscape, this property is not suitable for toddlers and infants.

2 bedrooms:
Master bedroom is on the 1st floor:
with king size bed, en-suite lavatory, en-suite shower room, air conditioning, ceiling fan, bedside tables with lamps, full- length mirror, flat-screen satellite TV. The wide glass doors lead to a balcony with fantastic panoramic sea and mountain views.

The views over the virgin valley of Pylaros, the surrounding mountains with the little traditional villages and the blue glistening Ionian Sea are fantastic.

King Side Villa is located in the hillside village of Vassilopoulata, in the rural region of Pylaros: the most unspoilt and authentic region of Kefalonia. A region of stunning natural beauty, gentle tourism and authentic Greek life. The well-known traditional tavern “Maklithari” and a restaurant/café are in the next village, Makriotika, just 10-15 min walk from the villa. The popular Agia Efimia with excellent amenities (restaurants, shops, cafés, beaches, car hire) as well as the famous Myrtos beach are 10 min easy drive from the villa. The village Vassilopoulata is located central on the island, thus it is an ideal base for exploring the island (a car rental is recommended).

The best villa to stay in Kefalonia!

It was our first time in Kefalonia Island and King Side Villa was simply the best place to stay with my family (2 adult & 2 kids). Dimitra our host was so welcoming and for sure we will come back ;-)

Loved this villa

We absolutely loved this villa and its location on the edge of a small village but completely private. The view of the valley and sea in the distance is gorgeous. The villa is bathed in natural light and there are tables on both sides of the house to sit, depending on the sun. The back of the villa is surrounded by trees. It is only 10 minutes to Myrtos beach. This was one of the favourite villas we have rented in Greece in the past 15 years.

The house is really nice and modern with excellent views of the valley. A lot of care has been given to make sure of a comfortable and relaxing stay. The wifi is decent for browsing and streaming, but I found that 4G is much better for video calls that need faster upload speed (4G down/up was 80/10Mbps). The location is ideal for those looking to escape from busy/larger towns to the peaceful countryside, but still within close drive to attractions (excellent beaches and big port towns within 15min drive). The surrounding area (within 5 minutes) has a variety of restaurants that we believe are some of the best we visited in Kefalonia. I noted a previous guest complained that the pool doesn''t have privacy from a neighbouring house. We didn''t feel that neighbouring homes were overlooking the pool area or that there wasn''t privacy. The area is very quiet and we didn''t see the neighbours much really, except when you walk down the driveway. Also, the hedges has grown since that review, making it almost impossible for neighbours to look in onto the pool area.
