Leave ReviewA Greek Odyssey
By Mark Bradshaw on 31-Jul-2025Myself and my family stayed in the wonderful Villa in August. Seeing the pictures on-line filled us with excitement, but the Villa in the flesh was even better. There was nothing that wasn't 100%. The owner (who met us on arrival) was lovely and super helpful and she has great eye for detail and the finish is not only top notch, it is exceptionally stylish. The kitchen had everything, the showers (and the showers gels) were perfect and the shower with the window was a master stroke. The pool was perfect and was cleaned twice during our stay. The air-con was supplemented by some massive wooden ceiling fans so slept like a log. The views of the blue sky, the hills and the sea over at nearby Agia Efimia were beautiful. The local walking distance restaurant was pure Greece with lovely tasty food and typically friendly hospitality. It was a little further to walk than we thought but it was worth every step, and we dined there a few nights. We hired a car to explore parts of the Island and were treated to great beaches, villages and restaurants and some stunning sunsets. Agia Efimia was a 5 minute drive and as we didn't even know it was there, it was a real gem. Everything you need with butchers, a lovely bakers, pharmacy and small supermarkets. Above all it had great restaurants with a buzzy but not touristy atmosphere and we hired a small boat to explore the bays and coves. The booking experience was faultless from start to finish, and sent us loads of info before we went which was incredibly helpful. We can't recommend it highly enough

Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay and liked the village of Agia Efimia so much. Indeed, it´s a real gem. We would love to welcome you back!
A beautiful villa in a stunning location
By Lisa Morrell on 22-Jul-2025We received the warmest welcome to the villa by Dimitra. She was also on hand for any queries over the week. The villa was immaculate, well equipped and beautifully presented. The outside space was equally beautiful with amazing views and the pool was a good size. The location of the villa meant that many of the tourist spots were no more than about 40 mins drive away. The nearest harbour Agia Effimia (10 minutes drive) had many places to eat and drink and a small well stocked supermarket and gift shops. It also opened late.
A week of pure relaxation and luxury
By Penelope Roberts on 02-Oct-2024I stayed at the Kingside villa at the beginning of October for one week with 3 friends. Our flight and travel from the airport meant we didn’t arrive until almost midnight, but Dimitra still met us and kindly showed us around her beautiful holiday home. The villa is in the most peaceful location, on the mountainside between two coasts. I recommend hiring a car to get around, there is so much to see in the area. In the morning we opened the doors and couldn’t believe the stunning view. Then you hear the bells and the goats bleating in the hills, it’s so lovely to hear. The villa is absolutely immaculate. It is finished to a high specifications and nothing has been forgotten. The beds were so comfortable. I slept soundly every night. It was great to be left a choice of towels for the pool, beach and bathroom. The linen was high quality. In the kitchen there is everything you could wish for, plenty of glasses and pool side glasses and even a cupboard full of coffee and tea and every day essentials. Dimitra was a wonderful host and makes you feel very welcome. She left us a wonderful welcome basket on our arrival with bread, local honey and jams. We also bumped in to her and her husband at the local taverna( which is excellent, you must go!) and she kindly paid for our drinks bill, which was most unexpected and generous. She also allowed for us to have a later checkout at the end of our holiday which she didn’t have to do, but we really appreciated this as we had a late return flight. The nearby beach of Myrtos is a must. We took the 10 minute drive several times during our stay. The water is so clean and blue, it’s gorgeous. There are shops and tavernas also in Agia Efirmia, which is also only 10 minutes by car. I have been to many Greek islands and stayed in lots of villas over the years. Kingside Villa will be one of my favourites by far. The stunning area and views, and the immaculate , faultless villa are going to be hard to beat. If you love the traditional Greek life and food, this is a must. Kefalonia is a fabulous island that has everything. Thank you Dimitra for our wonderful holiday, we didn’t want to leave!!!! I would highly recommend this to all my friends and family and hope to return again soon. Thank you again. Penelope, Alison, Claire and Sue.
A fantasticl villa
By Rich K on 29-Jul-2024King Side Villa was perfect for our family of four. It's very comfortable and in a beautiful, peaceful location. It's also stylishly and thoughtfully designed and equipped. We had everything we could need for an unforgettable holiday. (And the local taverna - which is walkable - is the best we found anywhere on the island.)
Beautiful Island and Beautiful Villa
By Kirsty on 23-Sep-2023Stunning contemporary design throughout. Wonderful little touches such as Nuxe toiletries and breakfast for our first morning. We had a wonderful holiday, a quiet idyllic location, with good restaurants and great beach near by. Friendly and helpful host. We’ll be back!
The best villa to stay in Kefalonia!
By Alexadru on 18-Jul-2022It was our first time in Kefalonia Island and King Side Villa was simply the best place to stay with my family (2 adult & 2 kids). Dimitra our host was so welcoming and for sure we will come back ;-)
