Description
Nestled in a small cove, just 30 meters from the sea, overlooking crystal-clear water and sandy shores, this spacious villa offers 240 sq.m. of living space, with five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a spacious living room, a roofed balcony, a large veranda and a 50 sq.m. outdoor infinity & saline chlorinated swimming pool (15 x 3,5 m) with hydro massage features. Scenic terraced gardens lead straight down to the water's edge, where a gate divides the property from the rocky slab below that ends in the crystal clear blue waters and is a nice alternative spot for sunbathing and swimming. One can also continue onto the beautiful sandy Agios Thomas' Beach, which is a mere 3 minutes’ walk from the property.The villa's interior arrangement is' upside down'! The living room, the kitchen and one of the double bedrooms with separate bathroom are on the upper level, while the rest of the sleeping quarters are on the lower level - a traditional Greek arrangement. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and have ample storage for clothes and personal belongings. All the bedrooms on the lower level open straight onto the pool area.
No expense was spared in the construction and furnishing of this lavish house. Predominately modern in style, it boasts large glass doors to take full advantage of the stunning seaview, which can be enjoyed from all rooms.
The area offers the perfect balance between relaxing isolation and easy access to the more cosmopolitan part of the island. There are no hotels in the surrounding area, and the few private villas are situated far enough to maintain an intimate atmosphere. A couple of taverns and a beach canteen are located within walking distance , while a short drive will bring you to several restaurants and mini markets.
Ideal choice for a group of friends, a large family or two sharing, looking to enjoy the sun and the sea secluded from the crowded touristic areas of the island. The grounds surrounding the villa can provide an elegant backdrop for a wedding party or special event of up to 100 guests. For large events, advance arrangements are required.

The villa is immaculate, very comfortable and a well equipped kitchen. The view is breathtaking and the sea is just at the bottom of the garden so very easy to cool off in the turquoise sea. Spiros is an exceptional host, nothing is too much trouble and very quick to reply to any texts. We used the kayaks and paddle boards and it was very safe in this cove. There is a new beach bar three mins walk and an excellent taverna which is open for lunch 12-4pm. Brilliant BBQ and dining area at the house so we used this every night. Supermarkets only 8-10 mins away with excellent choice. I cannot recommend this highly enough and the airport is only 20 mins. A WINNER!
Wonderful villa in amazing location with friendly and helpful owner.
By Clair S. on 12-Jun-2023We were a family group of 10 ranging from 6 years old to 74 years old. We had a truly amazing week here. The villa is beautiful and the location is breathtaking. Thank you Spyros for being such a great host. All the rooms have stunning views. The new pool that was finished just a few weeks before we arrived was fantastic. Having a salt water chlorinated pool is so much nicer than chlorine. The villas garden leads straight out onto the rocks where you can jump into the crystal clear sea which is just stunning. It’s just like in the movie Mama Mia!! We swam in the sea lots! We also used the Kayaks and Paddle Boards that came with the villa. There were double kayaks, single kayaks and paddle boards enough for all of us to go out together. Spyros provided us all with life jackets which was great. A short stroll along the rocks takes you to a lovely taverna which had great food and drinks. This is located by a small very pretty beach. We hired a car so that we could get supplies from the nearest mini market which was only 5 minutes away. We had such an amazing holiday and we would definitely love to stay here again. Waterfront Beauty!
By Peter H. on 24-Aug-2022We feel like we won the lottery staying at the Grand Villa for our first visit to Greece. The house is beautiful in itself, with all the features you would like. However, the property really shines with its wonderful view of the sea and its beach access. We spent so much time enjoying the water. Only advice - bring or buy water shoes to best enjoy the rocky beaches. Kitchen is well-equipped and beds comfortable. There’s even a housekeeping visit mid-week which gave us an excuse to leave the house and explore the capital. Thanks for creating a great vacation home. If we return to the island, we will be staying here again!
Hoilday/Wedding/Honeymoon perfection in one villa Grand Avali !!!

Spyros was there to greet us , with a lovely home made olive oil, Jam ,coffee!!!! etc The villa offered all that you could want for and more !! The photo''s don''t do it justice - it was SuperFantastic blown away by the breathe taking views - the surrounding grounds Kayaking, table tennis, badminton, volley ball - Fishing attempted !! swimming and lots lots more........ The villa- well amazed loved it- wanted to swap with Spyros. If I win the lottery ill be calling you up Spyros !! will definitely be back xxx Thanks for letting us stay my family & friend''s that stayed else where on the island where also blown away by the beauty & size. Had our wedding at villa Avali and my god Beautiful couldn''t have wanted it anywhere else the perfect villa / amazing wedding & honeymoon .........shame the fairy tale had to end x
You Will Not Want to Leave!!

We stayed here as a group of 8 ( 6 adults and two teens) for a two week period and are already thinking about a return visit. Spyros the owner is a super guy and was there to greet us, get us settled in and help us out as and when needed. He can e very proud of his property as it is really one of a kind being a lovely property in an amazing location. The property is very well equipped and includes four bedrooms ( 2 had a large double bed and 2 rooms each with two twins) with an additional room with a sofa bed and three bathrooms. It comfortably accommodated our 8 people. the house is really well equipped with the kitchen having all mod cons, all bedrooms having (much needed) AC, excellent laundry facilities etc etc. everything was excellent quality and we felt we were at a hotel While the interior is great with ample room and excellent facilities the exterior is truly the star of the show. We loved the huge deck space for lounging, dining and BBQ''s , the lovely grounds, play areas including volleyball, table tennis and then the direct access to crystal clear waters, the most beautiful natural pools and St Thomas beach. It is all breathtaking. The place is so nice you won''t want to leave and explore the rest of Kefalonia! We went around the island for a few days but were always looking forward to coming back to this gem of a property - a little piece of paradise My advice: Book up and you will not regret it.
Stunning Location. Immaculate Property

The location is absolutely stunning and the villas position certainly makes the best use of this!! The view from the balcony is incredible. The villa itself is immaculate and so well equipped. Even the bedsheets and beach towels were excellent quality. We literally had everything we needed to hand and the owner, Spyros, allowed us to use the kayaks and canoes from the villa to paddle round the bay. He even equipped us with life jackets. There are 3 tavernas within 3 minutes walk of the villa which we walked to and one morning floated round to on the rubber rings we acquired from a shop in Argostoli. Admittedly we may have still been a tad on the inebriated side from the previous night spent in Lassi. A taxi will get you there for 30 euros per journey and Spyros will give you the number of the taxi guy. Again absolutely excellent service. The location, quality and customer service from the owner were so superb we have tried to re-book for next year but someone has already booked the dates we need. If this wasn''t the case, we would certainly not hesitate. It is quite honestly worth every penny!!
