3 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa with private pool.
Villa Cypress, offers a unique retreat, with breathtaking views over the sea to Ithaca and Lefkas. Standing in its own grounds, tucked away at the end of a country lane in the village of Konidarata just a short drive from Fiscardo, the villa enjoys a stunning sunrise over Ithaca that is absolutely worth the the effort of an early morning.
There are pretty landscaped gardens on three sides, ample sun terraces with comfortable sun beds which are easy to move around. The rear terrace overlooks the traditional stone garden area with fruit trees. The terrace here captures the evening sun to enjoy a cooling evening drink or two. Or why not find a shady spot under the old olive tree to turn a few pages of your book.
The villa overlooks a hillside stuuded with cypress and olive trees and the peacefulness is only disturbed by the sound of bells as the goats or sheep wander through the trees below.
A short five minute stroll away is a small well stocked supermarket for your grocery needs.
On entering the villa you find yourself in the open plan lounge, leading to the dining/kitchen, with comfy sofas and a well stocked bookshelf. Access here to the bathroom/wet-room. A patio door leads out to the terrace and pool.
There is a well equipped kitchen and dining area with cooker, hobs, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and microwave.
All bedrooms are air conditioned and complimentary WiFi is provided.
The ground floor features a spacious double bedroom with king size bed, en-suite shower room, a traditional Kefalonian wooden ceiling, its’ own patio door leading out to the pool and sun terraces together with access to the kitchen and lounge area.
Stairs from the lounge lead up to a double bedroom with king size bed which has a large balcony with table and chairs enjoying panoramic views of the Ionian
sea and neighbouring islands.
Next door is a twin bedroom. There is a bathroom with shower on this level and all upstairs rooms have traditional Kefalonian wooden ceilings.
Each bedroom has stunning views of the sea and surrounding countryside as you open the traditional honey coloured shutters.

A wonderful stay
By David N on 07-Jun-2024A wonderful stay This is such a peaceful place with amazing views. The villa had everything we needed and the pool was great. It’s the perfect place to unwind and watch the swooping swallows or listen to the goat bells and watch them as they amble across the hillside. A car is a must and we enjoyed driving across the island to explore Assos and Fiskardo. Lovely food and wine. We’ll be back!

By Sarah J on 07-Jul-0024Absolutely loved this place What a fantastic holiday we had. Bob, our host, was easy to deal with and very responsive to emails. He very kindly sorted our car hire out too. The villa was in a fantastic location with a superb taverna at the end of the road. The villa was close to Fiskardo and in easy reach of Assos and other beautiful bays. It was very clean with amazing views and facilities. We miss it already and would love to return.

The property was perfect, the beds comfortable, with each bedroom with its own special character. Clean and with everything you could need for your stay. The outdoor area is superb, pool a prefect size for fun and the outdoor furniture great for relaxing. Perfectly placed for exploring the island and popping down to Fiskardo for an evening meal. This is an amazing villa. Bob was very helpful during the booking process and answered all our questions. We would very much recommend this as a place for an amazing holiday. Everyone was very welcoming and the island was beautiful. This lovely villa with its amazing views helped create our amazing holiday .
