The mature garden is beautifully landscaped providing a tranquil oasis even in the midday sun.Adjacent is a cozy, earthy dining area which seats six and the roomy separate kitchen provides for all the cooking needs of a family or group of friends. Patio doors conveniently lead directly onto an outdoor terrace for alfresco dining. Step through the living room with large comfy sofas, flat scree tv, free wi-fi, patio doors leading out onto the poolside patio ideal for sunbathing and take a dip when you need to cool off.
Upstairs the master bedroom has en-suite bathroom and private balcony with sea view, ideal for a lazy breakfast or late morning cuppa! Plenty of wardrobe space and the convenience of your own shower-room makes this bedroom an ideal hideaway.
There are two further bedrooms each with large twin single beds which also have their own en-suite shower rooms, comfy furnishings, plenty of cupboard space, great views There is also a 4th shower room on ground floor level.

Area description
Secret Valley is situated in one of the most beautiful spots in Cyprus with a picturesque 18-hole golf course and stylish but cosy club house with an excellent restaurant and bar. You are just a few minutes’ drive from Aphrodite Hills Golf and Leisure Resort where you can play golf or tennis or visit the beautiful spa and the cosmopolitan selection of restaurants and bars in the village square serving Cypriot, British, European, and Fusion fare. Less than 10 minutes drive is the stunning brand-new Nick Faldo designed Elea Golf Club claimed to have the best clubhouse anywhere in the world.
There is an excellent selection of local sandy beaches around 10 minutes drive away and scores of traditional Cypriot villages nearby with their friendly and varied restaurants and tavernas. These include Mandria, famous for its citrus fruit, Kouklia with its archaeological sites and the charming hillside Pissouri. There are many local attractions for everyone, and you are also only 5 minutes drive from the world-famous spot where legend has it Aphrodite, goddess of love, emerged from the Mediterranean Sea.

The Paphos region
Cyprus is one of Europe’s favourite holiday destinations. With friendly English-speaking locals, excellent food and wine and over 5000 years of history not to mention its many fabulous beaches. The climate is good all year round with July-August being the hottest months of the year. Best time to visit for Golf is between March-June and September-December.
Cyprus has many fine archaeological sites including at least 3 Amphitheatre’s where theatrical performances and concerts take place during the summer.
Places to Visit include Paphos Castle (during September it is the set for the opera).

Old Paphos
Old Paphos, now the site of Kouklia a five-minute drive from Secret Valley, was seated on an eminence, at the distance of about ten stadia from the sea, on which, however, it had a road stead. It was not far distant from the promontory of Zephyrium and the mouth of the little river Bocarus.
New Paphos
New Paphos (Nea Paphos), the currently inhabited town, was founded on the sea, near the western end of the island, and possessed a good harbour. It lay about 15 km northwest of the old city and Secret Valley.

Today Paphos, with a population of about 47.300, is a popular sea and a fast-developing tourist resort, home to an attractive fishing harbour. It is divided into two major quarters: Ktima, on the sea terrace, is the main residential district, and Kato Pafos, by the sea, is built around the medieval port and contains most of the luxury hotels and the entertainment infrastructure of the city. The harbours of Paphos are not so important: the normal shipping goes via the harbour of Limassol. Just as is the marina of Paphos for fishing and other kinds of interest.
Walking
Walking is a pleasant way to spend time in Cyprus especially in the spring and autumn.
Coastal walking is very scenic near to the villa and the Troodos has several marked trails encompassing rivers, forestry and ravines.
The Akamas peninsular also has trails starting from Aphrodite’s Baths west of Latchi and Polis and of course it is interesting merely to wander around the villages.

The villa itself was gorgeous and had everything needed for our stay. Beautiful pool and surroundings; the views from the balconies at the front of the property were absolutely stunning. I will certainly miss waking up to that every morning. For us as a family with older children, the en-suite bedrooms were a game changer. No teenage arguments over waiting to use the bathroom. Big thanks to Yvonne who was perfect at looking after us. Thanks for all your help and support. I look forward to booking a future holiday with you in due course. Many thanks J. Very peaceful, well equipped and extremely spacious. 3 lovely bedrooms all with en suite facilities. Large, private pool with loungers and parasols. A car is essential for access to amenities and shops. 15 mins from airport, 20 mins from Paphos and 40 mins from Limassol by car. Free Wi-Fi was included which was reliable although did not work for us in 2 of the bedrooms. All in all a lovely place to stay and unwind and we would definitely book againi! S. Batt-Aug 2023

The range of villas she has to offer are all outstanding and the booking process is so quick and easy. We stayed in Villa Arista this time as there were 6 of us and it was absolutely stunning. It was so spacious so we didn't feel crammed in and the rooms and amenities were outstanding. Secret valley is a beautiful place to stay and so quiet. We had a fantastic family holiday in Villa Arista!
By Mr Tombs on 20-Aug-2024We had a fantastic family holiday in Villa Arista! The location was great; only 15 minutes drive from the airport; a real bonus when most UK flights land late at night. The Venus Rocks resort was nice and quiet which meant you were never disturbed in the villa. The property was very spacious and very well equipped for a holiday let. If you wanted to cook there was plenty of kitchen equipment available. But equally there are plenty of places to eat within 15 minutes drive - Aphrodite Hills, Loudas and Mandria all being very close. The beds were comfortable and plenty of options for lounging around. We enjoyed many hours in the pool. Don't be put off with the pool being at the front of the property. Once you are in the pool you feel completely secluded and the area is very quiet anyway. Depending upon the time of the year the amount of leaves blowing into the pool can be a bit annoying, but easily sorted. It would be nice to have some new heavier parasol bases too since the ones on site are too light and are blown over by the slightest breeze. But these minor things aside, the property was fantastic and we would definitely like to book again. Booking via Jane was easy and reassuring and the communication by local property manager Yvonne was excellent too.
