This was a lovely apartment in a quiet part of the marina complex. Being situated in the corner, it was not gettting the sun on the balcony fully (we stayed during the first week of May; thus this may change later in the summer); but the advantage was that the apartment did not get hot (we didn''t use/need the AC units) and it had a lovely view across the marina to Lagos. The kitchen is well stocked, but there is limited worktop space for food preparation if you need to/want to cook. Although I''m not sure you''d want to cook, given the fantastic restaurants in Lagos - the best of which is the Don Sebastiao; we always eat there when we visit Lagos. We chose this apartment for its perfect location and we were very happy we did! A lovely, modern and spacious apartment that has everything you need for a self catering holiday. We went for our 15th anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The location is ideally suited for shopping, eating out and there are lots of places of interest and activities to do. There is a supermarket a few minutes walk from the apartment which is fantastic for all the things we needed for our stay. A scenic stroll along the marina takes you into the picturesque town where you will be spoilt with the many choices of cafes and restaurants. Pop into the market where they sell fish caught in the morning and for local fruit and veg as well as the yummy pastel de natas in the numerous eating places. A few mins walk will take you to the beach near town; absolutely stunning and clean as are all the beaches nearby! There is a swimming pool downstairs from the apartment which is exclusively for the residents to use. Although the apartment is well equipped for cooking, we did try out the local restaurants as well and would recommend ''Gilberto''s'' for authentic Portuguese dishes. For a pick me up go to ''Pingo Doce'' for coffee and pastries- perfect for after the shopping''s done! We stayed for a long weekend but wished it was longer, I certainly will book at this apartment again and will take the kids with me. If you choose to stay here a car isn''t really necessary as everything is within walking distance. We found the owner extremely helpful and answered all of my questions as well as suggested places for us to visit which was much appreciated. We have been going to Lagos for over 25 years. Love the place. It was the first time we stayed in an apartment, the one we choose was excellent. It met all our needs. Very pleasant stroll through the Marina, passing loads of bars/restaurants that cater for all taste and prices. Another 5 minute walk and you are into the centre of Lagos. My wife, a friend, and I are all aged 70 plus and had as good a week with wall to wall sunshine as you could wish for. 10/9/2017 at 6:02 AM
We have been visiting this place second time this year. And we have been surprised even more then first time. Apartment was clean, very friendly service, quiet around. Owner responded very fast - this is very nice address in Lagos.
