The house is popular with families and groups of friends seeking privacy and space in an idyllic location, right next to the beach and sea and yet within walking distance of tavernas and a bar. The kitchen is well equipped to cater for large groups, and the location is private with the most stunning views from the terraces, all west facing to enjoy everlasting sunshine throughout the day or the most beautiful sunsets in the evenings. If groups prefer not to self cater, evening meals or a fully catered package can be arranged at extra cost.
The main building has a vast open plan living room and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen able to cater for large parties. There is a TV and WiFi broadband throughout.
Outside is a stunning infinity pool 9x5m with panoramic views of the sea and Mount Pelion. Also plenty of outdoor terrace space with rattan sofas for relaxing and taking in the views. The large outdoor dining table seats 14 for al fresco dining. Dolphin's Leap is set in its own olive grove with uninterrupted 360-degree views, and a path leading down to the beautiful Gournas beach.
The local village and tavernas are a 10 minute walk away, with other amenities a 10 minute drive in Argalasti, to include a large supermarket, a baker, butcher, pharmacy and medical centre.
The main house is divided into 2 separate wings, each with 3 double bedrooms. All rooms have air conditioning and/or heating.
In Wing A on the first floor there are 2 double bedrooms - the master bedroom with its own private balcony and large en suite bathroom, and a large twin-bedded room, also with en suite. On the ground floor is a large open plan sitting/dining and kitchen area, and a third double bedroom with en suite shower and WC (and direct access to the heated outdoor shower).
In Wing B on the first floor there are 2 double bedrooms with shared bathroom facilities - the Pelion room flooded with light by 6 windows taking up the whole of 2 walls, with double bed; and a twin-bedded room with space for a third single bed if required. On the ground floor of Wing B is a fully equipped studio apartment with its own kitchen, sitting and dining area as well as en suite.

By Harpers Bazaar on 01-Jan-2013"With dramatic views across the Pagasitic Gulf, Dolphins Leap in Pelion is perfect for a group jaunt in a blissfully obscure region. Overlooking the bay of Lefokastro, this new villa is big enough for 14 and has an infinity pool, deluxe kitchen and even a writer's annexe."

By The Times on 25-Oct-2013"Set in the foothills of Mount Pelion, Dolphin’s Leap takes its name from the regular spotting of dolphins in the gulf surrounding the tiny hamlet of Lefokastro below. A highlight of the villa is a gorgeous stone verandah with saltwater infinity pool."
Fantastic
By Ingallil L. on 30-Jun-2017We travelled 14 people from Sweden to celebrate our parents turning 70. Our company consisted of 3 generations, the youngest kid is 5 years old. We wanted a private, beautiful and comfortable place for our vacation and Dolphin's leap really exceeded our expectations. It is such a fantastic place! Absolutely beautifully located with a fantastic view. The house is clean, well equipped, spacious and luxurious. We really enjoyed the pool and the outside dining area, surrounded by the beautiful garden. It was perfect for lunch and sunset dinners. Every day we either went to the nearby beach or went swimming from the cliffs. The beach was practically empty of people so we could play around freely! We took the boat out a couple of times and visited other nearby beaches. The village of Lefokastro is small but felt very authentic greek, which we enjoyed. We tried all the three taverns and the beach bar. The food was simple but excellent! Pippa and her husband were so kind and helpful. We had some trouble with the boat one time, and they immediately came to our help. Pippa was also very helpful with arranging a surprise dinner for our parents at one of the taverns. This was without a doubt a dream vacation and we could not wish for a better place to stay. We highly recommend Dolphin's leap and hope to come back when our parents turn 80! Stunning
By Pip H on 31-Aug-2017From the moment that I began communicating with Pippa, months before we holidayed at Dolphin's Leap, she was always helpful and prompt in her response to my many questions. The booking and information was as smooth as it could be. The star of our holiday was most definitely the full use of the boat! To be able to walk down the steps and cool down in the sea was also a highlight. Toula the housekeeper treated us to delicious evening meals which meant superb warm summer evenings relaxing at the villa. We also sampled nearby restaurants. We would love to return. Many thanks to Pippa and Nick for the opportunity to sample the delights that Dolphin's Leap blessed us with.
Fabulous
By Bronagh K on 31-Jul-2018All 14 of us ranging from toddler to pensioner enjoyed a fabulous week at this beautiful very well equipped house. The use of a motor boat to explore the pretty coastline was a reall added bonus. Would thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for splendid comfort in a stunningly beautiful part of Greece
