Description
Villa Melanie is one of the very few private villas situated in the peaceful and sought after Krana area of Lindos and is only a 10 minute stroll into Lindos Village Square. Car Hire is not required due to being one of the few villas in the location that has very close proximity to Lindos Village. The Villa has FREE WIFI. The villa has its own private well stocked garden which includes palms, exotic plants and fruit trees and has free access to a number of shared swimming pools where all are welcome.The villa also boasts a huge traditional BBQ and seating area with a variety of garden furniture for guests to relax and enjoy including four sun loungers and a comfortable outside sofa on the patio. A well stocked mini market is only a 2 minute walk.
Villa Melanie is one of the very few villas that has such close proximity to Lindos village where car hire is an option rather than a necessity. The stroll into Lindos Village is approximately ten minutes where the local bars, tavenas and eateries await. The four local beaches including the stunning St. Paul's Bay are only twlelve minutes walk from the Villa. The closest mini market is a couple of minutes walk from the property where you can purchase all your holiday essentials. The Villa also boasts distant sea vews. The Villa is situated in the Krana area of Lindos and is a gentle 10 minute walk into Lindos Square and a further few minutes to the 4 beaches. The Krana area has a number of low rise apartment complexes that allow and welcome all non guests to use their swimming pools and facilities free of charge including free use of their sunbeds. Krana Square also boasts Lindos Ice Bar, Restaurant and Lounge....only a 5 minutes walk from the Villa. We highly recommend this for great food, cocktails live music and provides Big Screens for sporting events.
Please note that the security safe that we provide along with the WIFI and Air Conditioning on both bedrooms are included in the price of the stay. The living/ dining area downstairs has ceiling fans. Air conditioning downstairs can be provided for an extra charge . A Netflix Account is also available to use complimentary.
We provide all the necessities including an iron and ironing board, hair dryer, fridge freezer, microwave oven, full oven and hob, sandwich maker, filter coffee machine etc.
The Villa has one double room and one twin room both having their own private balconies overlooking the garden and out towards the Acropolis of Athena and the Agean Sea. We have a put up bed for an extra person if required. Please note that to accommodate five people will incur an extra charge. Two bathrooms, one on each floor.
Arrival times are from 4pm and departure time is 11am.
Payment
25% deposit on reservation, balance due 60 days before arrival, £150 security bond
Payment can be either by bank transfer or PayPal (3% fee for PayPal payments)
Greek Tourist Tax
From Jan 2025 a new tourist tax is payable of €15 per night, this is in addition to the rental rates shown on the price table.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that a lot of care and thought had gone into making this a truly special holiday home. The villa is full of personal touches that made it feel warm and welcoming — from an air fryer and sandwich maker in the kitchen to the exceptionally well-designed outdoor space that we enjoyed every day. The location is wonderfully quiet, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway. Everything was perfectly organised by Melanie, the owner, who couldn’t have been more helpful — including arranging seamless transfers to and from the airport, which made the whole experience stress-free. Throughout the holiday, she was on hand if needed to answer any questions. A lovely bonus was the nearby hotel, where the staff were incredibly friendly. We were made to feel welcome and made regular use of their pool during our stay for a small fee. The description in the listing is entirely accurate, and the villa lived up to (and exceeded) our expectations. If we ever return to Lindos, this will be our first choice for accommodation. Highly recommended!

Small villa with a beautiful garden at a perfect location
By Michael S on 13-Jun-2023Two-bedroom house with a large living/eating room and a kitchenette and a beautiful garden – just like described and shown on the pictures. There are lots of different spots in the garden to spend some hours which we enjoyed each morning and evening. Communication with the owners was very easy, always friendly and helpful. Location of the villa has just the right distance to Lindos town – far enough not to be affected by traffic but within walking distance (about 12 min walk). From our point of view Lindos is anyhow the nicest town on the island with lots of possibilities to eat, shop or relax at the beach. Staying directly in Lindos gives you also the possibility to experience the much calmer evening hours without the crowds of tourists during the daytime. Furthermore, with a rental car basically all spots on the island are reachable with a 1h drive.
