Mountain View VillaSTUNNING 4 BED VILLA WITH EXCEPTIONAL SEA & MOUNTAIN VIEWS. PRIVATE POOL & GARDENS
Our love affair with Northern Cyprus began in 2007 when we bought Mountain View Villa, and it has become a home from home for us, visiting at least twice per year ever since, and a regular holiday destination for family and friends.
The villa is a very generous 4 bedroom villa situated on the lower slopes of the Besparmak mountains at the edge of the village of Lapta with views of the mountains to the front and the sea (1km away) to the rear. The rear of the property looks out onto a private 10m pool and mature gardens, and is served by a roofed pool terrace equipped with a large terrace table with 8 chairs for guests both to relax or to enjoy al fresco dining while taking in the scenery.
The villa has four fully air conditioned bedrooms, with the two upstairs bedrooms being en suite and a further bathroom serving the two downstairs bedrooms. The villa is built on two floors. The main entrance leads into a large airy living area with seating area, dining area and a fully fitted and equipped kitchen. Large windows surround the main sitting area, which is also fitted with air conditioning, ending in a set of french doors which lead out onto the pool terrace. The seating area also includes a sofa bed which can accommodate a further two guests if required. Also, situated on the ground floor are two guest bedrooms, one fitted with a double bed and the other with twin single beds. The third bathroom, fitted with a walk in shower serves the two downstairs bedrooms.
The upper floor is reached by a single two level marble effect staircase, leading to the master and second bedrooms and French doors to an upper terraced dining area. The master bedroom has a superking bed, fitted wardrobes and bedside cabinets, and a further set of French doors also leading out to the upper terrace. The en suite bathroom is fitted with a ‘wet room’ style walk in shower. The second upstairs bedroom a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a walk in shower. The upper terrace terraces, fitted with a large dining table and 8 chairs provides spectacular and simultaneous views of the mountains and the sea and is perfect for early evening dining or to make use of the villa’s provided barbeque equipment
Villa facilities include air-conditioning in all bedrooms and the lounge area, a blue-tooth ipod docking station, free wifi, hair dryer, ironing board and steam iron, washing machine and a dishwasher. A welcome pack can be provided on arrival at an extra cost and our amazing property manager is available in the event of any issues arising during your stay.
Car hire is recommended. The villa is situated within a short drive (circa 1km) to a local supermarket and the extremely popular Wild Duck restaurant is within a reasonable walk through fields at the rear of the property. The main sea front area of Lapta is a short drive away (circa 3km) which is served by an array of excellent restaurants and beach areas. There are many beautiful beaches and multiple excellent restaurants a short drive away and wonderful walks in the mountains. Further afield, the main port of Kyrenia with its beautiful marina, multiple restaurants and varied night life, is about 16km to the east and is easily accessible either to drive, take a taxi or to make use of the ultra cheap ‘Dolmush’ bus service which serves the area
Key safe is located on the wall outside the front door. Check in and check out times will be agreed at the time of booking.
North Cyprus is served by two airports, one in the north (Ercan) and one in the south (Larnaca). Flights to Ercan are routed via Turkey and will include a short stop over on the mainland. Ercan is a 45 minute car journey to the villa (directions can be provided if you intend to pick up your hire car at the airport)
Direct flights to Larnaca are available and is approximately 90 minutes transfer by taxi to the villa crossing the border at Nicosia (Lefkosa)
£150 per night (minimum 7 days stay)
£150 breakages deposit plus 10% of total amount to be paid at time of booking.
Remaining cost to be paid 4 weeks before booking commences.
Cancellation terms: deposit will be refundable up to 12 weeks before the arrival date.
Any breakages or excessive electricity usage may be deducted from the breakages deposit which will otherwise be refunded within 7 days of the end of your stay.
Please not we do not accept group bookings of all girls or all boys.

By Paul on 08-Sep-2025This is a wonderful villa with fantastic mountain and sea views all around. The villa itself has everything you could possibly need for your holiday. A car would be needed to see more of the island but being close to restaurants you can walk to the wild duck or Silver Rocks where the food is really good with plenty of choice. If you are looking for a beautiful villa for peace and quiet then look no further, this is the one. The owner Karen was always on hand before and during our stay, if we had any questions and always replied quickly. Thank you for an amazing holiday and we would definitely look to stay here again..
