Leave ReviewFabulous week at Villa Pineta
By Lin, Tanya and Chris on 07-Oct-2024This is the second time at Villa Pineta. We stayed for one week and enjoyed the setting with its fabulous views each morning. The villa is in a great location for visiting Florence,Lucca, Pisa, Barga and this time we travelled to San Gimigano -well worth visiting. Also found a great museum at Borgo A Mozzano which is just 10 mins down the road. It is the Museum of Memories dedicated to the Liberation route of Italy in WW2 There are also tunnels to visit nearby which I hope to visit next time. We went out discovering places during the day and enjoyed the comfort and relaxation of the villa in the evening. The villa is so well equipped that there is everything you could possibly need. The kitchen has all the facilities needed Nespresso coffee machine, air fryer, microwave etc.We made the most of the house and we dined in quite a few nights. A wonderful retreat -looking forward to coming back and discovering more in this lovely part of Tuscany.
Stunning!!!!
By Kelly & Billy on 23-Nov-2023We spent 5 days at Villa Pineta and I can honestly say I’ve never felt so relaxed after a short break. The villa itself has so much Rustic charm and has everything you could ask to make a perfect stay. The beds are so comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make the most of your time in the villa. There is a great barbecue area too. Most importantly the views. From coffee in the morning on the balcony, views from the pool or watching the sunset in the evening……STUNNING!!! Danny & Vic are great hosts with real knowledge of the area and have put together a welcome pack full of great supermarkets shops and places to visit. We would love to return to this beautiful Villa

Relax!
By Silke M on 28-Sep-2022If you are looking for a place to relax, swim and enjoy a good book, this is the place to go! A very charming house with everything you need to unwind. The view is spectacular, the pool big enough to swim laps and the kitchen has everything to cook a propper meal. The property manager was always responsive and helpful. It takes 40 minutes to go to Lucca and one hour to Pisa. The nearest larger supermarkets you can reach within 15-20 minutes, but there are small stores within 10-15 minutes of reach. Plenty of restaurants in the area. A great place to unwind. However, you need to do a bit of driving to visit sights. We got used to driving the narrow road up to the house. We can recommend staying at this place.
Splendid isolation with a lovely view
By Robert L on 14-Aug-2022The house itself is suitably furnished and equipped (no AC, but fans were OK even in August). The main attraction is the garden and pool area with its uninterrupted views over the hills. Whilst it is possible to eat out in the evenings, there is nothing close by and I didn''t fancy the winding drive up the hill to the house in the dark. So this property would suit a group of people who intend to take it easy - cook for themselves, drink and enjoy the sunshine - maybe visit some of the hilltop villages during the day (have a spot of lunch?). This is what we did and we had a good time.
