Description

Casita Privada @ Luz De Tavira is the 4th property in the Privada Group and follows the same quality driven outcomes as her sister properties. Our nearest property is only 3 minutes from this villa and can be referenced on Simply Owners (Property Reference P68048). As this property is new to the market we do not yet have reviews, but please look at the reviews on our Pinheiro property to understand the level of service we provide our clients.

Our new town house is situated in the small and charming town of Luz De Tavira. This area is renowned for being a jewel in the Algarve crown. Minutes from towns such as Olhao, Fuseta and Tavira and also from award winning beaches along the Eastern Algarve.

This includes Barril beach (locally known as the anchors graveyard) which is consistently voted in the top 5 beaches in Portugal. Just along from Barril beach is the delightful quaint village of Santa Luzia nestled along the Rio Formosa, stroll along the Main Street and sample one of the amazing restaurants, after all it is known as the home of Octopus in the Algarve. This location is also ideally placed to access the many varied tourist attractions, golf and leisure facilities that the Algarve has to offer.

This newly renovated and gorgeous townhouse has been upgraded to provide clients with the high standards the Privada Group has become renowned for.

The ground floor has a spacious lounge with cloakroom and WC off it and this then leads to a brand new open plan fully fitted and well equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and separate dining area. The large patio doors lead outside to the rear of the property into a secure and private enclosed garden with outside dining furniture, a BBQ and a large plunge pool.

Upstairs the house consists of 2 bedrooms, both boasting large en suite bathrooms with the master double bedroom having a separate dressing area. The second bedroom is with twin beds and a rear facing patio door with Juliet balcony overlooking the courtyard garden. Both bedrooms are completed to a high specification with ample wardrobe space and quality bed linen (Egyptian Cotton high thread count). Towels are also provided not only for the bathrooms but we also provide specific towels for use at the beach or pool.

Whilst the property does not have dedicated allocated parking its location benefits from plentiful off street parking at both the front and rear of the property. Due to the location of the villa we highly recommend that you have a rental car whilst vacationing in this area in order to get the most out of exploring the area and truly soaking up the local culture and flavour of Portugal which is still so vibrant and evident in this part of the Algarve. However, if you do not wish to hire a car there are small local supermarkets, cafes and restaurants in Luz de Tavira.

The villa is 25 mins from Faro airport on a virtually straight road. Travel through the sea port town of Olhao and grab some groceries and fresh fish, drive on along the N125 and within no time you could be at Casita Privada Luz de Tavira for an unforgettable holiday.

We can offer this lovely villa for longer autumn and winter let's at reduced rates plus utilities. The property benefits from solar hot water which means monthly bills are greatly reduced. Please ask us for more detailed information on longer lets.

Great experience

Luz is a small traditional village, but its proximity to Tavira and shops makes this a great location. Jonathan and Ian were brilliant hosts, and open to all comments and suggestions. If you need any help or advice, their are always available. The welcome package was outstanding. The village has two small cafes, both good for coffee and a pastry, but anything else you need to explore Taviras cafes. Recommendations: Tavira, Cabanas, Barril Beach (superb) and the small train, anywhere on the Rio Formosa. Further afield, our favourities were Loule, the castle at Silves, Carvoeiro and Olhao (make sure you get to the waterfront. We weren't too impressed with Faro, or Albufiera. Although its really cheap to use the train to get to Faro (less than 3 euro). The railway station is 5 mins walk, you can pay on the train, or use the app. For groceries, we preferred Pingo Doce over Lidl and Aldi. All nearby. Stick to the "house manual" and you wont go wrong.

Tout est parfaitement conforme à la présentation et aux photos. Tous les équipements sont récents et fonctionnels. Le linge de maison est de qualité et très complet. La maison est à environ 10 mn de marche d''une gare qui permet de voyager aisément sans avoir besoin de véhicule. Les hôtes sont tout simplement exceptionnels : nous avons souvent réservé via Abritel mais jamais nous n''avons été aussi bien accueillies : des confitures et des muffins maison, des boissons à notre disposition à notre arrivée... Toutes ces petits détails qui font la différence entre une "location" et un accueil personnalisé et bienveillant pour que nous nous sentions chez nous. Fantastic house in a lovely area

I absolutely loved my stay in the house. A beautiful renovated property and very comfortable. The area is perfectly located for Tavira, Olhao, Faro etc. The welcome was fantastic with home made muffins, jam and plenty of drink. Oh, and milk as well :-)
