Casa GinestaA country farm house is a tranquil sanctuary set in 2 acres of land within the Sibillini Mountains National Park with stunning views of the mountains, surrounded agricultural land and forest.
The property has been lovingly restored by the current owner, to create a luxury Italian hideaway in the foothills of the Sibillini mountains.
The area has a number of historic towns to visit including San Ginesio, Sanarno, Caldarola, San Severino, Tolentino and Macerata. The Sibillini National Park is renowned for it's fauna and flora and for it's hiking, mountain biking and beautiful open spaces with spectacular views. AC notes: Lago di Fiastra at 641 metres (2,103 feet) above sea level is a lovely destination in summer with cafes, restaurants and canoe rentals. ski resorts . An hour from the coast. Ideal base to explore hill top towns the area is famous for. Caledrola and the carrevajio, Ascoli roman ruins etc
The property is on two floors, with a kitchen, large open dinning room and living room and downstairs bathroom. There are three doors out on to the terrace. The first floor has three bedrooms all with their own en-suite bathrooms facing the hills and mountains accessed by a corridor giving individual room privacy. The house has underfloor heating throughout. All windows have shutters for security and to keep it cool in summer.
The property has a beautiful terrace overlooking the mountains with a complete outdoor kitchen. This includes a built in bbq and forno/pizza oven. There is a stunning infinity pool views over the hills towards San Ginesio set in a beautiful garden with olive and fruit trees.
Check in in at 3pm and check out is 10am.
Perugia airport is 1 hour drive, and Ancona airport 1hour 20mins. Foligno which has a direct train service to Rome is 45 mins drive. The house has a 50 metre drive off the local lane connected to the main road to the local viilage of La Villa.
