Description
Villa in Carvoeiro, Western Algarve, Portugal - Quiet Residential Location, 10min Walk to the Town Centre and the BeachVilla Papoilas is a spacious 4-bedroomed villa with a private swimming pool, which can be heated for an extra cost, within 10min walk to Carvoeiro town centre and its beach. The villa is well equipped and fully air-conditioned and has fibre optic internet.
All accommodation is on the main ground floor: two double bedrooms and two twin rooms, en-suite bathroom to the master bedroom, a second full bathroom with double sinks and a large walk-in shower, further separate toilet, lounge and the dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. The lounge and the dining area open to the terrace which leads to the swimming pool. There are steps from the terrace down but with a child gate on top of the stairs.
The private pool is about 5x9m and has a shallow end with Roman steps for easy access. Built-in BBQ and an outdoor sink, seating areas and sun beds (8). Optional pool heating is charged at 200€/week.
The villa is located in the end of a small cul-de-sac road with secure parking (lockable gates to the road). Some sea views from the garden but especially from the roof terrace. Carvoeiro is one of the Algarve's most popular old fishing villages with plenty of shops, banks, restaurants, bars and a beautiful sandy beach.
All bedlinen and towels are provided including separate towels for the pool use. Maid service includes mid-week clean. There is a washing machine in the utility area and it is available for clients' use when the maid is not using it for villa laundry.
A travel cot and a high chairs can be provided if requested (no extra charge).
Security alarm and off-road parking and lockable gates to the road.
No-smoking inside the villa.
We follow Covid-19 Cleaning procedures (Clean&Safe) as recommended by the Portuguese Tourism Board.

The Villa had a very nice location close to the city center in a cul-de-sac. We enjoyed the quiet and private area. Also Sam was an excellent host and replied to every question quickly. We will for sure be back!
Wonderful stay
By Anthony E on 21-May-2025We had a wonderful stay at the villa. It is well equipped, spacious and has a fantastic outside BBQ/pool area. The pool was lovely and warm and enjoyed lots by our daughter. Would recommend!

Lovely villa & Great location

Wonderful villa for a family holiday
By Tim L on 08-Aug-2023This is a wonderful villa for a family holiday and we really enjoyed our stay there. There are four good sized bedrooms, including the master bedroom with an en-suite, and they all have air conditioning. The pool area works really well, with a decent sized swimming pool and plenty of space around it for sun loungers, as well as a built in family sized barbecue and seating area which we used several times. And we found that the flow from the living room onto the balcony and then down to the pool worked really well. There were six of us and we could all do what we wanted in comfort but still feel in contact with everyone else. The villa is quiet but only a short walk from the lively town of Carvoeiro where there are plenty of shops and restaurants - the walk back is up a steep hill as others have noted but you can get a taxi instead for under €5.

By William M on 04-Jul-2023Beautiful villa in great location close to the centre of Carvoeiro which was only ten minute walk down the hill. Longer coming back, especially pushing a buggy up the steep hill, but taxis very cheap. Villa was very well equipped and pool was perfect for relaxing. A number of steps down to the pool area from the verandah but safety gates fitted for young chindren. Beautiful sea views from the roof.
