Fantastic opportunity to rent this modern three bedroom villa in Calicas, one of the most sought after areas of Lagos behind the 4km long Meia Praia Beach. The villa is set in its own 1/4 acre plot on a quiet residential road nestled on a hill in a picturesque established area on the edge of Palmares Golf Course. There are doors to the garden from the living room, kitchen and bedroom with plenty of covered and uncovered terrace areas for relaxing and sunbathing as well as beautifully landscaped gardens. There is a wonderful furnished roof terrace offering panoramic views to the mountains and the sea. The villa has been furnished with great care and to a high standard. The villa's electricity is now run by solar which is not only eco friendly but also means we are not impacted by any local power outages - any issues with the solar it does of course revert back to the grid.The house has a TV package including Sports, BBC and ITV, an extensive DVD library, fully equipped kitchen, dining table for 8, selection of reading books. The Master bedroom has a king size bed and en suite bathroom with bath/shower whilst the other 2 bedrooms share a 2nd bathroom with shower - the second bedroom has a large double bed and a sofa bed suitable for a child; the 3rd bedroom has a small double and 1 single bed. Outside you have a beautiful enclosed garden with heated pool, elegant outside dining furniture plus outside seating area on terrace and 6 sun loungers around pool. Up on the roof terrace you have a further dining table and chairs, 2 more sunbeds and a Moroccan day bed which is perfect to escape to! 5 minute drive to beach, marina, old town of Lagos and Palmares golf course, so perfectly situated and if you want to have a few drinks it only costs around 6 euros in a taxi. Truly everything you could wish for! The bedrooms and bathrooms are well proportioned; the beds were very comfortable. The pool was always a lovely temperature. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, if you don't want to go out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are confident that we will return!
A Beautiful, Comfortable Villa – Perfect for Families

The villa is in a quiet residential area, tucked away in a cul-de-sac just down from a four-star hotel. It’s peaceful, feels very safe and has a lovely sense of privacy. You will need a car here - walking to shops or restaurants would be quite a trek. That said, everything you need is close by. There’s a major supermarket about seven minutes away by car and the stunning Meia Praia beach is only a three-minute drive. Lagos itself is a large and beautiful town with plenty to see and do. The house is furnished and equipped to a very high standard. It has everything you could possibly need and everything works as it should. It’s spotless, spacious, and extremely well maintained. The property feels very secure, with electric gates, window and door shutters, and an alarm system. The pool was a real highlight - warm, clean, and very comfortable to use. We followed the simple instructions provided and kept the cover on each night, which made all the difference. The outdoor areas are just as impressive as the interior, with high-quality furniture, great lighting, and plenty of space for dining and relaxing. The beds were genuinely comfortable - something we often find lacking in other rentals. With young children, the setup was ideal. We spent three full days simply enjoying the villa: swimming, eating outside and soaking up the sunshine. Sam, the owner, was excellent to deal with from start to finish. Her communication was clear and quick and it’s obvious she takes real pride in keeping the house in top condition. We’ve already rebooked for next year which says it all really. Casa Bella is a beautiful home in a great location, and I’d highly recommend it for families with young children.
fabulous again
By kate sheehan on 04-Aug-2025This was our second stay at casa bella and it was just as good as the first , the house is beautifully furnished and is really spacious, the outside areas and the pool is perfect with plenty of seating and shaded areas and a huge roof terrace , the house is only a 5 minute drive from the beach , the town and the supermarket. The agent in portugal and owner in uk have both been really helpful and friendly and are always available , ive been coming to lagos for 40 years now ( every year ) and this is one of my favourite places to stay , hopefully we will be back soon .
Great one week stay
By David Nice on 19-Jul-2025We returned to a favourite villa, sadly this time for only one week. Definitely a home from home (except my house does not have a pool). Has everything needed for staying in and cooking, bbq, air fryer, ovens etc, large fridge, plenty of eating spaces. Pool is great, lots of sun beds, plenty of shade if preferred, great roof top space (you can eat there too). Great location, having a car is helpful, but if not Ubers are readily available, or walking (20 mins) to the Meia Praia beach is easy. A good size villa and I will happily return again! Lagos itself is nice, lots of places to eat. A number of supermarkets are within 5-10 min drive, the Intermarché was my preference, but all are good. There are various beaches within a 30 min drive, our preferences being west of Lagos as less people. Finally Sam, the owner, is very easy to deal with, helpful and efficient. This villa is fully recommended by someone who has stayed 4 times!
Beautiful Villa
By Lynn & Steve on 27-Jun-2025We stayed at Casa Bella first two weeks of July 2025 and we were not disappointed, this is a beautiful villa both inside and out. It has lovely views from the roof terrace of both the mountains and the sea. The villa inside is spacious, tastefully decorated and very clean. The pool area is very private and offers plenty of space to soak up the sun, there are also shaded areas to relax. The pool is a nice size and heated to a lovely temperature. The owners are very nice people to deal with and have compiled a comprehensive directory of local restaurants, shops etc which is very useful. The beautiful sandy beach at Meia Praia is approximately 5 minutes away if you are a beach lover. Book with confidence you will not be disappointed, we have already booked for 2026.

We hired a vehicle and this villa was a great place to stay and explore the different regions and sites of the Algarve, with a lovely heated pool and a 6euro uber charge into the town of Lagos for excellent food, drink and entertainment. We will definitely be back.
